We stayed for one night at the place, and though the views are breathtaking and feel like out of a post card, the rooms do need some taking care of and renovation. The decor is relatively old, we had a curtain holder detached from the wall, the television is very old and the coffee and tea is presented in a...

This guest house looks promising when you enter the driveway. The accommodation is dated and really tired, as was the bathroom. Nice view of horses next door and of the mountains. Breakfast was the same each day, bacon egg, sausage. No pastries, croissants or muffins, only toast. Town is a brisk 15 minute walk away.

What a lovely place especially if you have kids - they loved the dogs, donkeys, ponies and chickens. A lovely lake to relax next to. Tennis court. We stayed in the Chardonnay Room with mezzanine level - just perfect. Breakfast was delicious with freshly baked croissants. Will definitely go back there next time I am in Francshhoek,

The Guest House is in a nice quiet location, just slightly out of Franschhoek itself. We were warmly welcomed by Ronel and shown to the Merlot Suite which had the bathroom and lounge area downstairs and the bed upstairs. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The towels were white and fluffy and the king size bed really comfortable with good quality white...

I stayed here with my Mom for 3 nights in June 2016. The accommodation is neat, picturesque and is fitted with a beautiful new bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good every day. The accommodation is situated just outside the main tourist precinct and is quite and peaceful.

Overall enjoyed our stay but with a 4 star grading, the attention to detail should have been better. There was no hot water at 8:30 in the morning ( a real let down on a winter's morning), the curtain rail was half falling off the wall and there was a light that needed a new bulb. Would stay again but...

We stayed here because we wanted a quiet place not in town nor on the main road. And b/c they offered a great last minute rate. The grounds are lovely. Our room was spacious and a bit quirky with the bed upstairs and bath down (and could use a few more hooks to hang clothes and such). Breakfast was plentiful....

The manageress was very sweet and helpful. Delicious breakfast and very pretty surrounding areas. The rooms and bathrooms are overpriced per night- maintenance is needed and the bathrooms are old. Very out of date TV's too. There should also be bottles of water in the mini fridge - and there were no glasses to fill up with the tap. However,...

Lovely place situated a mile from towncentre. The rooms were very nicely decorated. Lovely fairytale beds and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of fresh fruit followed by a nice cooked breakfast. The hosts were very hospitable and we enjoyed talking to them. A nice place to visit.
