I had the privilege of staying in the Plum Cottage and absolutely loved it. Upon arrival guests are offered complimentary wine tasting and a free bottle of wine in their room. The cottage was very comfortable, beautiful and well-stocked, and the bathroom floor was heated. The fireplace made for a great night in and I was pleasantly surprised that they...

The cottages are quite basic, but are most certainly value for money. You will have everything you need. The cottages have a fridge, hairdryer and complimentary shampoo, bodywash and room fragrances as well as wifi. Each cottage has a little patio and garden and braai/barbeque facilities, plus there is pool with loungers and you feel very safe. They are very...

We recently stayed at La Bourgogne's cottages in Franschhoek. Firstly the town is absolutely charming - a quaint main street with lovely old buildings, cute shops and delicious restaurants. It was a little tricky to find the correct entrance to the cottages, even following the instructions provided. But we finally did and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful farm setting....

VALUE FOR MONEY! 3 km from the centre of Franshhoek. We stayed in a 1 bedroom chalet. Clean, comfortable and everything you need! Our children aged 5 and 8 slept on the sleeper couch in the lounge. No Tv. I love the no TV!!Fantastic views. Close to everything. Children kept busy by Sasha & Joey (the dogs). Really great weekend....

We stayed at Riverside cottages in the Grapevine cottage for 1 night while on a family trip to the Cape. The price is very reasonable as well! This place is perfect for families and the kids loved every second. The staff is super friendly and attentive to every need. We also had a complimentary bottle of wine in our room...

From arrival to check out, this place is truly amasing. A beautiful little cottage nestled in one of the most lovely places in the Cape. The big difference however comes with the staff. Nothing is too much effort. Everything is done with a smile and that little bit extra is no problem. Thank you guys for an amasing and relaxing...

We stayed in Oak Leaf Cottage with friends for the Literary Festival. We did not get to spend too much time at the cottage with all the entertainment on offer but found the accommodation to be very comfortable. The beds were comfortable with crisp fresh linen. Overall the accommodation was very clean and met all our requirements. The staff were...

You don't need more than a room, lounge, kitchen and bathroom when visiting Franschhoek, and Plum Cottage ticked all the boxes. Beautiful surroundings right by the river, with an abundance of birdlife flying from tree to tree all day, makes this place the picture of serenity. Not to mention that La Borgogne is right across the bridge, giving the freedom...

Our two bed self catering cottage was excellent - well appointed with utensils and toiletries, no TV (hurrah) and in a lovely garden. We were adopted for two days by friendly collie Joey and enjoyed this place, cooking breakfast for ourselves and then using it as a base for this amazing wine valley. I loved the accommodation itself, and also...
