We stayed at Riverside cottages in the Grapevine cottage for 1 night while on a family trip to the Cape. The price is very reasonable as well! This place is perfect for families and the kids loved every second. The staff is super friendly and attentive to every need. We also had a complimentary bottle of wine in our room... More

I highly recommend Riverside Cottages. Lovely comfortable accommodation. Well appointed with everything that you need. I just wish we had spent more time there. Lovely setting. Kid friendly too. We will be back!

From arrival to check out, this place is truly amasing. A beautiful little cottage nestled in one of the most lovely places in the Cape. The big difference however comes with the staff. Nothing is too much effort. Everything is done with a smile and that little bit extra is no problem. Thank you guys for an amasing and relaxing... More

We stayed in Oak Leaf Cottage with friends for the Literary Festival. We did not get to spend too much time at the cottage with all the entertainment on offer but found the accommodation to be very comfortable. The beds were comfortable with crisp fresh linen. Overall the accommodation was very clean and met all our requirements. The staff were... More

You don't need more than a room, lounge, kitchen and bathroom when visiting Franschhoek, and Plum Cottage ticked all the boxes. Beautiful surroundings right by the river, with an abundance of birdlife flying from tree to tree all day, makes this place the picture of serenity. Not to mention that La Borgogne is right across the bridge, giving the freedom... More

Our two bed self catering cottage was excellent - well appointed with utensils and toiletries, no TV (hurrah) and in a lovely garden. We were adopted for two days by friendly collie Joey and enjoyed this place, cooking breakfast for ourselves and then using it as a base for this amazing wine valley. I loved the accommodation itself, and also... More

We stayed in Apple, a one bedroom cottage close to the pool. The cottage was clean and tidy with great WiFi for keeping in touch with friends and family. There is a nice pool and garden, wine and olive tasting as well as a braai for each cottage. Special mention to Izzy and Thomas who looked after us as well as... More

Very well turned out cottages set close enough to walk into the central/main road of Franschoek. Beautiful views of the mountains and an excellent swimming pool and gardens. The welcome staff could have been a bit more helpful as we were not offered any of the facilities from the farm, namely picnics or wine tasting, and she could not assist... More

I must admit that given how well priced this accommodation is that I was a bit sceptic on what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by a spacious cottage with everything you need (even a braai) in beautiful surroundings, garden and nearby pool. Greated by friendly staff we were also offered a complimentory wine tasting in the cosy little cellar... More

We stayed in the cottage closest to the road which did suffer from some road noise, but not overly intrusive, avoid if you can though! The accommodation is quite humble, but very clean, adequate and good value for money. I would recommend it for a big group of friends or families who can socialise together but still have their own... More
