Excellent base from which to explore the wineries of the area. The Manor is located out of town but not so far, it's a pleasant walk in. The proprietor, Wolfgang, provides a free taxi service in the evening into town & back. It's a picturesque setting & we saw it at its best with clear blue skies. The rooms are... More

We arrived in Cape Town airport about 11:30PM Sunday night, where we were met by a delightful driver sent by Wolfgang, the charming owner and host at Franschhoek Manor. Very light traffic that time of night, so it was only a forty-minute drive from the airport, north and then east to Franschhoek, a beautiful village in the wine country east... More

Franschhoek manor is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the loft apartment which was very spacious. The manor is very tastefully decorated. Wolfgang and Christina were great hosts, and gave us very good dinner recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious. We really recommend this place.

We enjoyed a wonderful welcome in this luxurious and well organised establishment. Everything we could possibly need was at our disposal from a beautifully appointed room to the pool and grounds. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the large pool and gardens, with the mountains as a backdrop was perfect. So relaxing! A stunning and peaceful location yet easy to access... More

Franschoek was more perfect than we had imagined and the Manor ceertainly lived up to expectations. Our room - the black room was lovely and had everything we could have wanted and the breakfast, served on the terrace was delicious. Lovely garden and pool area. We weren't too sure about walking into town to go to restaurants but fortunately the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in 3 different rooms. Each meticulously clean; stylish, yet cosy and well maintained. The suites even have fireplaces! Our first impression upon entering the premisses was, that we had arrived in a small piece of paradise! The Manor is surrounded by a luscious garden, which slopes slightly downhill towards a stream passing behind it.... More

It is hard to add to the previous positive reviews as most already cover how fantastic this place is. Another guest during our stay commented that they felt they had arrived in heaven! The setting really is breathtaking. The rooms are very well equipped, with full size toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast outside on the terrace is perfect. We... More

Spent four wonderful nights at Franschhoek Manor and have no hesitation in recommending this as a great place to stay when visiting Franschhoek. We stayed in the Loft apartment which is slightly apart from the main house however as we were on a B & B basis we were able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace at the front of... More

We stayed at this lovely b&b for two nights and enjoyed it to the max! The house is lovely, the Purple room where we stayed is small but romantic and well maintained. The owners are very nice and the three dogs are awesome, so sweet! It's just a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town of Franschhoek. Great service... More
