Spent two nights at the hotel. It is a beautiful establishment especially if you want to be on your own since the accommodation is situated in the extensive grounds/orchards. Some people may not like being several hundred yards from the main building but we really enjoyed our time there including having a "chicken" at the breakfast table. A little expensive...

Dec 16 - totally stunning location, service was second to none and lovely food. It is a short drive into town but private car services are available - however why bother when you are in such an idyllic place..

I can not recommend this place highly enough. Paradise. I am very blessed to be able to generally stay in high end places when I travel and this place easily compares to the best - in fact I prefer it to most 5/6 star hotels for many reasons - the surrounds are stunning, the attention to detail in the rooms...

When only the best will do, you have to visit here. Lovely large room overlooking the pond and the vineyards and mountains of Franshoek. Great bathroom, fast wi-fi. Everything was right - the best room of our 14 day holiday. Stefan took great care of us and was a great help. I had couple of glasses of Port from the...

As soon as we drove through the gates we immediately fell in love with this place. The gorgeous driveway with the beautiful purple tree at the end with the mountains behind is absolutely stunning. Then we found our suite which was beyond belief. Standing alone in the orchards with its own private plunge pool overlooking a pond and the mountains...

I'm sure that there is an abundance of luxury properties to stay at in the Franschhoek area, but my wife and I fell in love with LPD during our trip along the Garden Route, winelands and into Cape Town earlier this month (Nov 2016). The first thing we saw when we arrived at the property was a huge Jacaranda tree...

Turned up here and they took us to our own cottage with its own lounge/kitchen and massive bedroom and bathroom with his and her sinks. It's beautifully put together with a patio overlooking the Franschoek mountains and a swimming pool. You walk through the vineyard to breakfast. The menu is extensive and you can sit on the patio or inside....
