We booked one night here after enjoying the Franschhoek Wine Tram experience (An absolute must). We were the only guests in a 4 bedroomed manor house. Huge rooms, outdoor pool, stunning views and setting, lots of lounge/living areas and a great breakfast to boot!!

Our overnight stay was supposed to have been at the sister lodge, Basse Provence but due to some technical issues in our room, our hostess Heidi was quick to report our disappointment to her manager and without a moments hesitation, Tanya the Hotel Manager, moved us into the Manor House at Rickety Bridge at no extra cost to us. Well...

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Rickety Bridge Manor house with its opulent furnishings. Our spacious room was excellent with the interesting thatched roof. Only negatives were the lack of coffee pods in the room which we had to ask for twice and also the quality of the breakfast was not up to the standard of other places that...

Relaxation at it's best. A great venue for access to many attractions in the area. Many attractive wine estates as well as Franschoek are within comfortable easy reach. If you just want to put your feet up, sit by the pool and admire the view.

Great place to stay and enjoy a typical Dutch Farm House stay..... we as guest's were entitled to enjoy "wine tasting"....which was great. The Only negative was there was no facility to eat in the evening. Although they would arrange a transfer to town.

The house is very beautifully decorated - the upstairs rooms are beamed and cozy with very comfy beds. Nice bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast is served either outside or in the small dining area. Pool is refreshing and has sun until mid afternoon. Location is a little outside of town but there is a good local taxi service. The...

Hello Sarah. It was such a pleasure having you on the estate for a few days. Such a shame about the fire that ripped through the mountains at the back of Franschhoek. A delightful and unusual trip where all three rooms became good friends. It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we do hope to see more of...

Loved it here. The old Cape Dutch architecture was so beautiful and the thatch felt cosy. A bit isolated if you are alone, but there is a night watchman with a big fierce dog to keep you safe! Great breakfast, served outside in the garden. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Overpriced , room very small . no bath soap. breakfast very basic. I was very very disappointed in just about everything and would recommend that you find alternative accommodation. It was a rip off and even the parking and help with the luggage was poor.

Good afternoon. I am terribly sad to hear that your stay with us was not the normal excellent standard. The menu is varied with smoked salmon and eggs, vegetarian and freshly cut fruits and juices. What a shame it was not to your taste!. We have gone away from the hard soaps which one tends to throw away and moved...

We stayed for 2 nights & I wish it was for longer. The Manor House is charming,(great for photographs) and the views over the vineyards are stunning. Our booking was straightforward. We received a warm but informal welcome on check in and our room was clean and well appointed with all the necessary amenities. The extra special touch to this...
