I cannot praise this beautiful boutique hotel enough. Everything about Angala is first class! The hotel is beautiful and well thought out, modern without compromising the natural beauty it is surrounded by. From the moment we arrived everyone was very friendly and available for our every need. The accommodation is fresh, and cool, and relaxing. Wonderful comfortable bed and the...

I can not recommend this wonderful little gem enough. It truly deserves a 6 star rating. 11th wedding celebrated here. Beautiful setting, attentive staff, beautiful clear water in pools and fountains everywhere creates a soothing relaxing atmosphere. There are so many thoughtful little touches everywhere. We'd love to come back soon.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. From before we arrived until the moment we left, the service here was incredible. Having never been to the region before, we asked for reccomendations from the hotel in advance as to what do on the way to them and we received a very friendly and useful email in return. Both of their...

We stumbled upon Angala while perusing Discovery's Hotel Collection and decided on a two night stay. We only wished we had stayed longer. Everything about this boutique hotel screams relaxation, from the ozone pool to the sauna/steam room to the perfectly landscaped gardens (with the help of one of Kirstenbosch's landscape designers) and courteous staff who, by way of example,...

Brilliant venue that is improving every time we return. Aubrey and team are doing an amazing job of treating guests with care while constantly improving their property with each season. The recently opened swimming pool and deck was an amazing addition during the heatwave in the area while we visited, for example. Location remains excellent, being close to Franschoek, Paarl...

I wish I had more time here, I could literally feel myself relaxing. They offer an assortment of creative activities and treatments aimed just for that. There was one thing that takes getting used to – their swimming pool are all natural so no chlorine and looks more like a water feature than a pool. But that didn’t stop anyone....

We left Angala a couple of days ago and there are not enough superlatives to describe it. The staff, food, ambience, service in fact everything was second to none. Your every need is catered for and I can't stress how wonderful the staff were. We were met on arrival by Aubrey who was the perfect host. Just wish out stay...

Tucked away on the wine farm Vrede en Lust sits one of the most amazing little gems of the Franschhoek Valley. We recently stumbled across Angala Boutique Hotel and Guest House and from the moment of arrival to the time we left were blown away by the overall experience. The entire property has been designed to be as eco friendly...
