Our thanks go out to our ranger Cornie, Cindy and the whole Gorah team for a truly magical stay. The game viewing was fantastic - so many elephants and close up viewing with lions and so many more animals out on drives and at the watering hole by the main building. We learnt so much from Cornie about the wildlife... More

My wife and I stayed here for the final nights of our honeymoon. We specifically picked it because it's in the heart of Addo Elephant Park and we really wanted to see Elephants in their natural habitat. We were not disappointed! We were lucky enough to see hundreds at a watering hole in the Addo Elephant park. We even saw... More

We had a wonderful stay early June, only trouble was we wish we'd booked for longer. The tents were superb as were the surroundings and the staff especially our ranger lovely Corny, he is so knowledgeable and didn't get fed up with our many questions as there were 5 of us, parents and 3 sons. ALL staff were great, friendly... More

It rained non-stop during our visit but that did not make an impact on our trip as the food and the wonderful farm house ambiance made up for it. As it was cold, there was always roaring fires and flickering candles lit up the beautiful old building. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was first class and the wine list... More

We were welcomed by the resident Elephant Valli Moosa just a few metres away from the entrance of Gorah Camp. The lounge overlooking the waterhole is the best part of the camp. I didn't want to move from there. It was an anniversary treat for both my husband and myself. Couldn't have asked for more. The staff were just excellent.... More

Gorah Elephant Camp is situated in the malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park. When we arrived at the gate, we received two gift packs with mineral water, chocolate, biscuits and a formal letter welcoming us to the Park :) Gorah has a beautiful setting to view the wild animals while you eat breakfast and lunch. The water hole is right in... More

And this is not exaggerated. I have been to many many top hotels in the world. Great resorts, incredible venues. But I have never experienced such a level of professionalism or dedication and care to detail. Everything is just thought through. Nothing is left to chance. All the staff is fantastic. The service is incredible. I have to follow a... More

We stayed at Gorah for 3 nights at the start of our SA trip and loved it. The team are so friendly and welcoming for the second you arrive and the 'tents' are beautiful, with very comfy beds and all the amenities you need...especially the little 'sweet' treats. The restaurant was excellent - pre-drive snacks, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner... More
