We have just returned from our third stay at the main rest camp in Addo National Park, and honestly believe that it is the best run SANPARKS rest camp. The chalet and camp were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The chalet is spacious, and the bed very comfortable. The chalets are very private with dense bush in between them. Each chalet... We stayed in a CH2/4 Chalet at Addo Rest Camp in June 2016 and it was our third visit to Addo National Elephant Park. This is an air-conditioned 2 beds & double sleeper couch with toilet, bath and shower, adequately equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, and utensils. The chalet is adjacent to another chalet but private and had a... More

We stayed in a CO2 cottage. This was a one roomed cottage with separate toilet and shower. Each of the cottages were surrounded by bush so as they were private from one another. They had a lovely veranda to sit on and relaxed a area for braaiing. The kitchen area was simple but adequately equipped to cook. The room was... More

Great spot very popular with internationals tourists and sites fill up fast so book in season time. Tent sites small so don't bring to big a tent. Caravan sites better. Ablutions are super clean and well maintained .services on site are great.

The chalets are very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay immensely and were lucky to find accommodation at short notice - thanks to a very efficient lady in reservations called Nadia! She's always very friendly and helpful!

Not our first visit, but our first stay-over in this National Park. Spacious, comfortable chalets with lots and lots to see in the Park. Probably the only place in the world where Dung Beetles have the right of way on all roads! A true African experience for nature-lovers!

Very nice accommodation, basic, but clean and reasonably sized with good cooking facilities. It's the location you're getting the best deal from though as the rondavels overlook the floodlit watering hole so you can sit on your individual veranda and watch the wildlife. Our only issue was with the air conditioners / heaters, they are quite noisy and the rondavels... More

We spent one night in the forest cabins. Accommodation was simple, but comfortable. Monkeys can be a problem and pinched my wife's breakfast! forest cabins have a communal kitchen, which is nice because of the social aspect and meeting other Travellers, comparing notes. Nice. The main camp is busy, but very well run. It is clean, and systems all function... More

The rented cottages are fabulous, little own reet roofed house with a terrace and a nice view over the scrubs. It has it own parking space in front of the door and a little space next to the cottage, the braai area. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. All tidy and well maintained. The distance from the cottages is... More
