There are very few reviews regarding their RV rentals so I figured I would leave one. We stayed in a canal view RV. It was generally pretty clean but there were needed small improvements. I’ll start with the positives. The grill and fire pit area was clean and inviting. The RV was relatively clean but the floor could have used a deep vacuum and mop. Some other things that need improvements. The screen door needs repair, the cushions need Velcro to stay in place, vents and lights need to be cleaned. There should be a welcome packet of some sort explaining where the control panel is. We had to find someone late in the night to turn on the hot water. No one did a run through with us of the actual RV and we were left clueless on how to turn on lights etc. The facilities are excellent! The grounds are clean. I never saw the garbage compactors filled to the brim. The pools are clean and the lifeguards are attentive. My children had the best time at the lake and I finally had a chance to relax. We all agreed we would come back. Some other things, the laundry room needs to be cleaned. There should be zero reasons why the machines aren’t disinfected and cleaned along the seals. I was a bit grossed out by the machines. Overall, those are the only call-outs. There was nothing that stood out as a major negative and the staff was friendly. The other campers are also very friendly, along with their children. Splurge for a gold cart to ride around.

We camped at Hospitality Creek during the third week of May. It was pretty quiet, because the pool and activities hadn’t begun yet for the summer season. We had a great location near the lake, full hook-up, with a beautiful view of the waterfowl, including swan. Wifi and cable tv were strong and worked well. Many of the activity areas of the campground … pools, gazebo, and so on … look very new and attractive. All the staff members that we talked to there were friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we extended our stay an extra night! A special shout-out thanks to the fellow at the desk who arranged that for us, and also answered all our questions about connecting to wifi, etc. All in all, Hospitality Creek is a campground we would recommend!

This was my 5th year here and it was the most disappointing. To start, last year we made our reservation for this years trip. We reserved a specific on site RV and spot. About 3 months before this years trip I noticed in an email we were listed in a cabin rather the RV. When I called it was a lot of being put on hold and back and forth and the conclusion was the RV we rented was no long a thing and they just switched us to a cabin. When I asked if we could move to another on site RV she said they were all rented. No explanation on why they weren’t offered to us first or why we weren’t notified of the change. That was a little off putting but not the worst thing. Next, when we checked in and got to our cabin it was during a heatwave and almost 100 degrees out. The air was not on in the cabin and it took almost 8 hours for it to cool down and that was with us going to the store and having to buy fans. The AC being put on even a couple hours before hand would’ve been very much appreciated. It was an unhealthy hot inside of there. The beds in the brand new cabins are almost unbearable to sleep on. The bunk bed mattresses are rock hard and the twin mattresses in the loft are literally just springs. It was the most uncomfortable sleeping we’ve ever had and we’ve slept on kitchen tables converted to beds. The camp now is geared way more towards smaller kids and there’s seem to be hardly any activities for young teens/teenagers. The camp ground was the emptiest we’ve ever seen it. It used to be packed with families and it’s crazy to see all the empty sites now. Wondering if they’ll even make it to next summer but either way Im sad to say but thinking this was our last year here and we’ll move on for next year.

We do apologize that your stay did not meet expectations. While we have added many attractions for smaller guests we have also added fun things for teens, such as our new laser tag field. We also still have our beloved Wibit obstacle course in the lake, a huge hit with teens and adults alike. We do hope you'll give us another chance.

I had to cancel a reservation short notice due a medical issue. I called and asked to reschedule it so I didn't lose the money or the much anticipated trip? I was fine with a $25 initial cancellation fee as long as the nightly fee could be applied to a new weekend. Left an initial message no call back. Two days later got a guest relation specialist who had to refer it to someone else. They call I explain the entire situation and they advised they would call back. No call back, however the response was they did call and leave a voicemail. I must have the only IPhone that catch the message or the call in my records. They offered a $20% off and I lost all of the initial money. Camping used to be communicating, friendly and working with people, customer service. I understand it has been purchased by large cooperation. This must be how we do business now. I appreciate the smaller mom and pop family owned campgrounds more.

Great stay please get rid of the wood chips they are messy and a safety hazard!

Our party was constantly getting stabbed with the wood chips.

In early June it would be nice if the facility was operating like it is the summer. We came in on a Thursday and nothing was really available until 3pm Friday.

The location is great and most of the staff is fantastic. They have a bunch of young kids working here, but they’re all trying their best and they’re very polite.

The lake inflatables are not suitable for young kids, but my boys loved the splash pool.

DO NOT stay at site 15. Their sewer hookup is up hill and keeps causing issues for us. It’s not able to drain properly. When we complained, they refused to give a partial refund and instead offered a discount for next year. We will not be coming back next year.

i was on site 127 the weekend before memorial day and memorial day weekend. Both weekends my wife and I smelled sewer gas at our site. the weekend before was so hot and the pool was not open because of failure to have enough lifeguards on staff. A couple friends have booked the next year, same two weeks and they had to be paid in full up front. I had a site booked for fourth of july weekend and have cancelled due to no fireworks. we werent very pleased at all having to smell sewer gas all day long. I really dont think we will be back, and weve camped there at least 8 years for the weekends listed above. Good luck !!!!! Unfortunately I will be sharing my experience with fellow campers !!

We just got a camper last summer and this was our first experience. Yogi Bear camp resort was absolutely amazing. Our kids (toddlers) had access to so many awesome activities from arcade to kid geared pool, our family had a blast and we already booked our trip for this summer!

We love it here clean, safe and lots of fun. Staff is great. We love to go during Halloween and decorate the site and give out lots of treats. VIP and lake sites are our Favorite sites. When we go in groups we have a mixture of sites so 1 night on the lake and then the other night enjoy the band.
