Stayed here for the last 4 years and found it to be clean and comfortable. It has a nice heated pool. It's a typical shore motel but nice. It's 2 blocks off the beach and about 4 blocks to the boardwalk.

Quick facts: Pros: Great location, friendly and accommodating staff, clean and well-maintained buildings and rooms, reasonable prices, great mattresses Cons: Rooms a bit on the small side, ineffective wi-fi Despite it being a sort of "quest"of ours to try most of the island's many motels, we find ourselves returning here every year for one of our Wildwood excursions, and that... We stayed for the car show. This motel is very clean and accommodating. The employees and owners work hard at making sure your stay is everything you want it to be. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Motel offers coffee and cookies in the morning. Very clean, nice pool. We will be returning next year!

I stayed at the Aztec at the end of August with my daughter and grandson. My daughter had stayed there before and I had also stayed at their sister properties, the American Safari and the Gondolier through the years. The Aztec rooms are small, but they are kept immaculately clean, and nicely decorated in a beach theme. The pool is... More

My husband and I stayed at this motel the last week in August for the first time in Wildwood Crest. Our room was called the "Hideaway." This room was a perfect fit for 1 or 2 people max! The staft at this motel are nothing but friendly, courteous and ready to tend to their guests needs. The grounds are kept... More

I loved the colors in the room it was very bright and beachy feeling. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The housekeepers did a pretty good job but, you had to ask for clean sheets. I would stay there again.

Great trip. Adams and Jeanette are wonderful hosts. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Not a bad thing to say. Ten stars ! They own four locations and I'm sure you will get the same service at all of them. If you want a view on the beach go to the Gondolier.

We decided to go down the shore last minute on Memorial Day weekend and this was the only place we could find with a vacancy. For anyone for visits Wildwood/the Crest often, this is a very typical little motel. It was inexpensive compared to where we usually stay, a block and a half away from the beach, and within walking... More

My daughter and I take a getaway once a year just to relax. Every year we are not disappointed with our stay at the Aztec. Adam and Jeanette always make us feel at home. We love the location to the beach and board walk. The rooms and pool are always clean. Every morning cookies and coffee. Can't wait to book... More

We just returned from our 7th annual stay at the Aztec, which continues to reign as our favorite place to stay in Wildwood Crest for these reasons: It's clean-- super clean! Spotless white linens and towels; smooth tile floors; small-but-sparkling bathroom. It's comfy-- firm mattresses and lots of pillows; chilly air conditioning; a fully-stocked kitchenette; free Wi-Fi. It's convenient-- just... More
