After a friend’s recommendation for Waters Edge, we booked a 1 bedroom unit with our infant son for a mini trip. Our room was the “type b” by the pool, which lacked privacy, and quiet during daytime pool hours, but when the bedroom door was shut, none of the outside noise was noticed! The tight quarters in the hallway on the first floor was annoying during loading/unloading, but for the price
We paid, a small inconvenience at most. Kitchen area clean and stocked with basic supplies, and we chose to omit daily cleaning and have housekeeping leave fresh towels every morning, which worked great during pandemic vacation times! Beds were comfy, would have preferred a king sized, but, once again, a good value for the money! There’s a yummy bagel//breakfast place right next door that made the stay even better! Would stay here again!

Spent 10 nights here in July 2020 with a total of 8 people in oceanfront rooms.

Let me start out by saying that the procedures put in place due to COVID-19 were excellent. Masks were to be worn in office, elevators and common areas. Staff were always on point with this. You have the option of putting out your garbage and dirty towels/sheets before 10 am and would receive a bag back with all the necessary items or you could have housekeeping come in (preferred no one in room but if remained must be masked). We chose to leave items outside the door and never had an issue.

The rooms were clean when we arrived and the view was amazing. Used the BBQ grill and didn't mind grilling since the view was great. Common areas had seating spaced out and limited. Pool was clean and a great place to relax.

Being so close to the boardwalk was great and we had assigned parking for 2 cars due to type of room booked. The office was able to accommodate a 3rd car which was a lifesaver!

Definitely will book with them again. Love the location, room, amenities and staff!! Thank you for an amazing vacation!!!!

I love Waters Edge we have been coming for a few years. Love how the rooms face the ocean. The staff is very nice and very respectful. We did not need the ladies coming in to clean and if you just want clean towels and sheets you can put them outside the door and they leave replacements. Will definitely be back next year and many after that. Thank you Waters Edge staff for keeping everything clean and sanitized

This was our first time visiting New Jersey and this hotel was amazing with a perfect location that is literally a 1 minute walk to the boardwalk. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The refrigerators are a great size and the kitchen set up is great, including full oven, 4 burner stovetop, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. There is also a large propane grill for the guests to use outside. The pool was warm with plenty of seating around it as well as an upper deck that had many tables and chairs as well as corn hole, ping pong and giant connect 4. The private balconies on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors were large enough for our family of 4 to sit out and watch the ocean. With the screen door open you can hear the waves easily. The staff was accommodating and friendly. You also have the ability to order out from many restaurants that will deliver to your door! Thanks so much for an amazing stay!

My wife and I stayed at Waters Edge for five nights. This hotel is well maintained. Staff were throughout the hotel property day and night cleaning and picking up any debris etc. Our room was on the fifth floor with a balcony and ocean front. Room was very clean and good size. Front desk staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable of restaurants etc in the area. This property is doing it right especially in these difficult times of the pandemic.

The minute you walk into the lobby office, you feel like your with your friends! Their warm welcome is so nice! they check you in quickly ,answer any questions and give suggestions. The elevator is right down the hall from there, with plenty of luggage carts. We stayed on the fifth floor, with a great balcony! Upon entering the room, it smelled soo clean! Nice firm bed, with the whitest sheets! Tall refrigerator, and microwave(all sparkling, and refrig nice and cold!) Bathroom was extremely clean with lots of towels and toiletries! We stood out on the balcony and breathed in that cool ocean breeze! looking out onto the water, we left this horrible pandemic back in NY. We decided to grill a couple of burgers, and went down to the lower level. One of the employees, a man named Jerry, was busy cleaning up by the grills. He greeted us with a warm conversation, and helped us with the grill. He and others were readily available at all times through out the day and evening to help! We loved how close we were to the boardwalk,( 5 minute walk) and the beach the same time span. We walked to minature golf and to ''Sea Shells" ice cream shop. The employee Jerry told us of a deli we could walk to (apprx. 2 blocks } to get milk and bread. How convenient, to not have to get in the car to go to a store! He also suggested a nice resturant , "Little Italy" which we walked to. Delicious food, great service and kid friendly! We came back that first night , sat out looking at the beach, the ocean and we both agreed that it was so quiet, peaceful! When we went to bed that night we loved how quiet it was for sleeping. {The security people are out walking around, making sure all are safe} {what a nice feeling} We stayed for 7 days{, which went by so fast] as they say {Time flies when your having fun!} We absolutely will be back to see our "friends" at Waters Edge Ocean Resort!

We have stayed with the Water's Edge a few times now and each time it is clean and neat. They took extra precautions during this time of COVID and we felt reassured things were being sanitized properly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again.

Wonderful hotel with a perfect location, quiet, clean and relaxing. We stayed in a room which was recently updated with a king bed on the fifth floor facing the ocean. We had the best room in the place, enjoyed the peaceful sunrise each morning. We had a private balcony and another slider door that opened onto the top floor sun deck. When both doors were open, the breeze was amazing!
There are many different restaurant options within walking distance, casual to more dressy. Also able to quickly get to the middle of Wildwood where the rides, games and arcades are by foot, bike or tram car. Convience store and liquor store also within walking distance.
Cape May is about a 15 min car ride.
Washer and dryer were convenient on the third and second floors of the hotel, bring quarters and detergent. $2.00 for wash, $1.50 for dry.
Parking spots are a bit tight, easier to navigate with a car rather than a bigger sized truck.
The pool was great for a cool dip after a day on the beach.
Nice options for relaxing on the second floor sun deck with tables and umbrellas for outside dining as well as a shaded lounge area on the first floor with a ping pong table and a large grill with multiple burners for guests to use.

I was worried about booking at the jersey shore because it has been a long time since my last vacation there. I chose this hotel based upon reviews and description and have to say from the moment I called to make a reservation with the nicest woman to checking out with the same nicest woman, I am very pleased. The suite (room 404) was much bigger than I had anticipated and as clean as it can be albeit definitely showing some age. Room was oceanfront which was nice. Pool was typical jersey shore small but there was a fantastic sun deck on level 2 with chaises and tables with umbrellas. Next time I'd love a room that opens to the deck. Anyway, there's a great ice cream shop that is at the hotel and a decent bagel shop for breakfast and/or lunch right next door. There is also a room with table tennis, giant connect 4 and a huge gas grill that multiple people can use at once. It always smelled so yummy there. Parking was extremely tight. Like let your passengers out of the car before pulling in kind of tight. Really no complaints. Would definitely consider returning.

It’s a block away from the boardwalk/ tram car No need to drive unless you’re going to a water park and need a ‘locker’ Then it’s as close as you’re willing to pay for parking.
