The property was oceanfront right off of diamond beach. The room was very spacious and had some updates. The furniture was brand new, the small kitchen was very nice and hsd dishes cups plates pots and pans. The floor was a very nice grey laminate.it had an incredible view of the ocean even though we had a side view. The pool went up to 8 feet and one of the cleanest pools I've seen at a beach. There was a small cafe at the hotel although we didnt eat there. The room was very clean although there was a monir issue with the housekeeping. Unfortunately the bathroom was terrible and needed a complete overhaul. The sink was tiny and had very shallow drawers. The towels were very small and course just slightly larger than a hand towel. Fortunately we had more towels than needed. The fan was so loud it sounded like a jet plane so in the bathroom I couldn't hear my husband standing next to me. The shower head leaked pretty bad and was also very loud. You can tell that there was many recent updates but didnt finish. For the bedroom there were 2 beds full and queen that were so close to the wall you barely had enough room to get out of bed. My review was a 4 but its really more like a 3 and a half. Parking can be a challenging especially if you have a larger vehicle. The door still uses a metal key so be careful not to lose it. All in all it was a good experience and I would stay again as the location makes up for the downfalls.

We had a beautiful room facing the ocean at the Acacia this August. The room was clean and fresh when we arrived, with towels, extra pillows, and a clean kitchen. The view was spectacular, and the motel sits right at the entrance to the beach at St Louis Ave, with sand showers galore.
The pool was a little worse for wear, but the water was clean and upkept. I wish there has been more seating, and perhaps some shade. In addition, they didn't vacuum our room for the entirety of our stay, which was strange to me for a 5-night stay, and our kids' beds got very sandy as a result.
I would stay here again, for sure. There is a coffee shop attached to the hotel next door for cash-only coffee and great breakfasts, and everyone at the Acacia was friendly and accommodating. I recommend this motel highly!

Upon arrival to the Acacia, we were in awe. The location is perfect, in the Crest amongst single family homes in a quiet residential neighborhood, but just steps to the beach. Acacia is immaculate! I am a clean freak and was quite impressed with the cleanliness of the exterior of the building. It is very "seashore" looking with a white exterior and blue doors. The interior was also impeccable. Rooms were spacious with just the right amount of furniture, not cluttered. The living room and bedroom had large flat screen televisions. Kitchens have a full -size fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Housekeeping and maintenance teams were very helpful and very attentive to our requests. This is definitely a place I would come back to year after year. It still has that nostalgic feel with all the modern conveniences.

The room was clean and comfortable. The place is close to the beach and to businesses and restaurants. It quiet and family friendly. The room offers parking for one car. The pool is heated and there are two grill areas to cook and eat. There is enough space to eat outside and lounge. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Awesome location!! It is so close to the beach and very convenient with having kids. They also have a outside shower by the pool which makes it easy to clean off after walking up from the beach and there is an elevator which is great when arriving and leaving even though there is only 4 floors it helps alot! The swimming pool is a little small but its nice because there is a deeper end and a kiddie pool side. Our room was very clean and the kitchenette was great and updated! The kids loved that there is a tv in the bedroom and one in the living room area. The only only thing we did not like was the shared balcony. There were other guests blasting offensive music outside with the F word and nasty lyrics during the day that our kids could hear! Overall for a family vacation this place was great and we loved it!!!

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're happy to hear you generally enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry and disappointed to hear about your experience with your neighbors. That's always a tough situation to navigate. One would hope people would be mindful/ respectful of their surroundings... If you should ever be caught in the same situation, please let staff know. We will be more than happy to have a conversation with our guest(s). Furthermore, if you should decide to stay with us again, we do offer rooms with private balconies. Be well!

The front desk staff was very welcoming and were very informative about the area. We stayed in a lovely 1 bedroom suite with a kitchenette and pull out couch. The room was decorated with a warm beach theme. The room looked fresh and new. The hotel backs up to the beach. This hotel is located on the quiet end of the beach which was exactly what we were looking for on this visit to Wildwood Crest. Thank you for making us so comfortable!

We were accused of smoking in the room which is not true. We smoked on the balcony with the screen on the door opened. We brought an ashtray so no ashes or butts were strewn around.
Each night we emptied the ashtray into a plastic bag which was on the table until the end of our stay. We placed that bag into the trash can in the kitchen upon leaving.
Between smoking next to the door on the balcony with the screen opened, and ashes and butts sitting on the table what did we do wrong?
It's not acceptable to be accused of something that was not done. It's sad that doing the correct thing is not enough.
Our credit card was attempted to be charged without any notification.
The room was small and the floors dirty. My socks were disgusting from walking on the floors.
Enough said

I'm sorry for your frustration. However, the accusation was not unfounded. We had several staff members enter the room and all confirmed a pungent, cigarette smell. Our chambermaids cleaned, aired and deodorized. The following guests arrived several hours later and immediately requested to be moved out of the room because of the smell of cigarettes. The guest's exact words were "If it were just my wife and I, maybe, we would tolerate the smell; but, we have a two year old". Please consider this from our point of view. Thank you. Regards, Management

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this resort. The rooms were very clean and the location was excellent. I usually stay at a much pricier resort and although the pool was smaller then I expected it suited our needs for an hour or two after the beach. The kids enjoyed the stay and there were lots of families. The extra patio area with BBQ was a bonus and we took advantage of cooking a nice lunch one afternoon. There is a small restaurant at the hotel attached which you can get coffee, sandwiches, fries which was nice as well.

Extremely overpriced motel which is calling itself a "beachfront resort". There is nothing "resorty" about this place. Yes, you can see the ocean if you go to the terrace and look to the east. There is a "some" view. But this is not the biggest problem. Outdated and stinky room, really badly working shower ( no chance to regulate temperature), bad location in between north wildwood and Cape May. Location is the worst problem of this place. You can't reach anything without car. Boardwalk of Wildwood - you should drive; Cape May - you should drive. The only place which you can reach by foot is "crest tavern" with no reservations and generous time of wait in Friday evening 1.5 hours for mediocre bar food. And all these problems for 300$ fir a night? Highly overpriced motel, that's it.

Great location for direct access to the beautiful beach and just a short (but beautiful) drive to downtown Cape May, as well as the Wildwood boardwalks. Clean room. Friendly staff. Kitchen with fridge, cooktop and microwave in the room. Dinnerware and utensils are provided in the cabinets. Everything in the room worked. Competitively priced! Highly recommended.
