I went Aug 9-11 with my best friend, her family and my daughter. Just a couple of things. #1 if you're offering a pull out couch bed to customers, please make sure they're all well maintained and functioning. The one in our room looked like it hadn't been opened in years!!! So my friend's mother who was using it, had to put the mattress on the floor because the couch was so broken... #2 After we spent the first night, next day, the pool was not cleaned till a few mins before opening. I personally, got up very early and decided to walk to the beachfront to take a few pictures. Looked down to the pool and it was full of hair and garbage. I assumed pools have to be cleaned and put some bleach on it overnight so it's cleaned and ready to use, but this wasn't the case here... Other than that, I found everything else to be ok for us...

We choose this place because it was right on the beach, and was a tad more expensive so we thought we'd get what we paid for. Boy was I wrong... The place is outdated and missing little details (like no hooks at all throughout the whole room/bathroom to hang wet items on, never was given enough towels and it was always a Hassell to ask for some, not enough pillows for the extra pull out bed, no comforters but a thin blanket in place of it, only 1 lousy AC unit for the whole suite so the back room was freezing but the front was sooo hot, the bathroom was gross with no hooks and the damn faucet was impossible to figure out, etc.) Tiny details like that were missing. The parking situation is near to impossible, especially if you have a bigger car like ours to accommodate my handicapped 3 year old daughter. They claim they are handicapped accessible, but thats not true at all. There was no handicapped parking, no ramps and it was hard navigating her stroller around the place to get to the room. Nothing handicapped accessible about this place. The pool is a decent size but was extremely overcrowded with drunken people and very large families (they had cases of beer in the pool area) and blairing their music. The loud music lasted well until midnight and I was thankful our room was not near all those families and was on the other side. Their was also trash everywhere. I and my family just felt very uncomfortable at this place and it was not what we thought it was. The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it really is in person. Maybe we'd return if they cleaned up, improved the hotel and the tiny details, and added accessibility to the rooms, but until then we will not be back. For the amount we spent on the long weekend at this hotel, we could have spent a week at a beautiful upscale condo or nicer hotel. It was really disappointing. The only positive was we were right on the beach and the restaurant in the hotel had AMAZING pizza. Kudos to them! One more thing, and I'll put this last as it may not be a big deal to some, but there is absolutely no smoking on the property. As a smoker myself, it was very annoying that there was no designated smoking area and was asked to leave the property completely to smoke. Overall, I give this hotel a C-

I recently stayed with my 3 preteen daughters. The rooms are small but very modern and clean. The beds are a bit uncomfortable but can’t beat the hotel for the price. The wildwoods do tend to get rowdy so don’t be surprised if your neighbor blasts music past midnight. Yes my family fell asleep to the thump of base but this isn’t the first hotel I have experienced that at in wildwood and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

Nice little hotel with a kitchen which was both convenient and enjoyable. the rooms are rustic but the location was wonderful. The rooms were outdated and in need of remodeling. The location and the restaurant really made this place. The menu was large and the food was very good. My kids would of lived there if I let them. They were obsessed with the pizza. It was a little far from the boardwalk but that also made it nice because the beach wasn't overcrowded. All in all it's not a 5 star resort but I enjoyed it and will return

Have been coming to the Coliseum for years, so tells everyone a lot about what I think. Conveniently located on the beach so the choice is beach or pool. Staff is very friendly and the place is kept clean. The reason I gave it 4/5 stars...not 5, is because it needs some updating. The carpets need replacing, and some of the tiles are broken or need replacing. Not to dwell on the negatives but don't expect to get the TV stations you get at home. It is just basic cable - maybe less. But I will be going back at least in 2020. And the Wifi is inconsistent But we were on a family vacation so it is all good!
