    Great Family Vacation
Nice family resort, we had a room that slept 6 for a reasonable price. Room was clean and air conditioner was on so the room was cool when we arrived! Two queen beds in the back room with dresser, night stand, and small closet. Fully equipped kitchen that was clean, had a few pans, cooking utensils, silverware, plates, cups, toaster, coffee maker (which was clean), cutting board, drying rack, dish soap, dish towels, and a scrub sponge. Nice kitchen table for 6 to eat at. Cabinet room for snacks. Not too much space for storing much of anything else but that was ok with us. Housekeeping service was nice and switched our sheets and cleaned up some sand from the floor after a few days when we asked. Changed our towels everyday that we required their service. Towels and sheets were white, clean, and new looking. We checked in late on a Friday and booked for 4 nights. Managers were nice and helpful. Make sure you don’t put your door key near your phone otherwise it will deactivate, they did warn us of this but it was an easy mistake that they fixed super quick for us. We actually ended up booking two extra nights and we got it for a little cheaper which was really nice! Conveniently located right on the beach for easy access and the walk down was short. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served at the pizzeria there was convenient as well. Less than a 10 minute drive to the boardwalk.
Thank you for your kind words, hope to see you in on your next trip to Wildwood Crest

Nice little hotel with a kitchen which was both convenient and enjoyable. the rooms are rustic but the location was wonderful. The rooms were outdated and in need of remodeling. The location and the restaurant really made this place. The menu was large and the food was very good. My kids would of lived there if I let them. They were obsessed with the pizza. It was a little far from the boardwalk but that also made it nice because the beach wasn't overcrowded. All in all it's not a 5 star resort but I enjoyed it and will return

    Nice little place.
I booked the hotel because it was reasonably priced then read the reviews and I was a bit weary. However, I thought it was a nice place. The place was super clean. The staff was very friendly. The only downsides were the parking is pretty tight and the water pressure in the shower wasn't that great. The rooms aren't that big but are perfect for a little getaway. Overall I thought it was a pretty nice place and it's right on the beach. I would definitely recommend it.

I wouldn’t even give them one star. Absolutely horrible and disgusting hotel. Yes hotel because this place is definitely not a resort. The floors were disgusting to walk on. We wouldn’t leave the shower without something on our feet at all times. The bathroom was tiny and disgusting. There was a yellow rim around the toilet seat. The fridge barely kept anything cold even on the highest temperature. We didn’t even use what they call a kitchen. A two burner stove that was TINY and looked like it will blow up if used. The beds very uncomfortable with flat pillows and the blanket was rough and not comfortable to sleep with. We were there during the blackout and you’d think places that call themselves a resort have back up generators but nope. My 4 year old had to take a dark cold shower because you need to shower at least twice a day staying in that filth. Also they have very sketchy people wandering around the property. Me and 3 other women were sitting outside one night enjoying our vacation and had some guy keep talking to us, mumbling stuff and making us all very uncomfortable. Staff was very rude. Pool was dirty. The one and only thing I enjoyed about this place was the little restaurant on site. The lady who owes it is such a sweetheart and so kind. I will not be returning to this hotel but I will return to give the restaurant my business.

To the Owner of the hotel: I stayed at your resort from July 6-11th with my family along with my niece and her family. I felt we were targeted and did not appreciate it. There were kids running on the second floor at midnight and no one said anything to them. However, my niece had two three year old little boys who lost their dad October and their grandmother last April who were reprimanded by your management twice. They were in Room 102, which is directly near the steps so when we sat outside the room, people constantly had to come by us. We didn’t mind that or say anything about it. However, your management had some issues with these little boys. On Saturday afternoon, your manager came by and said we had too many toys outside and had to put some away. At that time, there were flash cards under the concrete where the beach-chairs and boogie boards are stored from everyone and about 10 little cars against the wall underneath the chairs we were sitting on. They are children and we were on vacation and paid you almost $5000 for both units for the 5 days. Only toys that were theirs was the flash cards and little cars. All the beach chairs and boogie boards I guess was okay to stay there but the boys playing with their flash cards was unacceptable. Then on Monday night we took them to the boardwalk and bought them a little car with lights. They had a switch on the bottom that they went by themselves. As they were playing with them, the cars passed the steps going around and the manager said to my brother (their grandfather) that they toys can’t be left there. Now, we know we would not leave the toys there and there was no reason to say it. That’s all they had outside, which they were playing with. They were little cars as well. However, on Monday night, July 10th, your manager allowed about 15-20 young people in the pool until 9 pm with a radio. However, the pool closed at 8 PM. I also noticed that the gate to the pool does not have an automatic swing closure as this is a new jersey law. No where on your hotel policy does it say kids can’t play with their toys outside. What did your management expect them to do, stay in a 2 x 4 room all 5 days. That’s not what we paid all that money for. I would hope that this does not happen again to another family on their vacation. I know I will never stay at your hotel again, nor will I suggest it to anyone.

What a waste of money to stay at an overpriced dump. The reviews that listed that this place is a disappointment and is way overpriced are all right on here. The boardwalk is cleaner to walk on barefoot then the hotel room floor and that’s saying a lot . As soon as we walked in the carpets looked like someone poured juice all over the floor and rubbed it in. The couch had white stains all over it. The table is like a folding camping table with plastic chairs. There is rust all over the fan above the stove, the refrigerator, and blinds. The only air conditioning is in the front room in the living room and the people in the back room are sweating sleeping in a sauna. The baby had to sleep in a diaper because it was so hot in the back room. The fan in there is so loud it sounds like it’s going to fall off the ceiling on to you when it’s on. The bed frames looked like they haven’t been replaced since they first opened. The bed sheets were all blood stained .we slept on top of the bed with our clean towels from home because the beds were so disgusting. There is mold in the bathroom and cracked tiles in the shower. There’s a “glory hole “ in the bedroom wall. The light fixtures are all falling apart. The pillows are awful, feels like you are sleeping on a rock. The staff is just rude and the gentleman downstairs acts as if you are bothering him when you ask him something, like it’s an inconvenience to stay there when you are the one paying.Just save your money and stay somewhere else, you are better off. We went for our baby’s first beach trip and I would never go back and stay there again even if you paid me. The Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at!

We made a reservation for a Type F room (2 room with full kitchenette). We had one door for each room. One lock wasn't working. So we had to use only one door to get in and out of the rooms. Hot water was not working on one of the kitchen sink, we had to open the valve because it was closed. Full kitchenette... One pan and one cauldron. Really small microwave. They say two BBQ. One is ok but the other one took me 30 minutes to cook hot dogs. So imagine how long it will take for a steak. They say two washing and drying machine. Only one of each was working. The other machine were out of service. The restaurant was closed on a saterday night even if it was supposed to be oponed all day. The pool was not so clean. And they closed it when it started raining very lightly. It was the first and last time at this hotel because we're used to go to another place but it was making renovations when we made our reservation so we couldn't book there.

The description says "ocean view" but really, it's a parking lot view. In addition, the rooms are outdated, musty, and cramped. The AC is positioned in the front of the room, with the bathroom in the center, cutting off the back bedroom so the bedroom is hot and doesn’t cool off. Our stove didn't work, and maintenances fix was to jiggle it, say it was fine, and leave. It still did not work. Our refrigerator leaked, and the gentleman at the desk said “well, I can’t exactly replace it right now, so stick a towel under it.” A lady got us new sheets that had gotten wet from the fridge on the pullout couch and she was very nice. When my mother in law asked for more towels, the lady in house keeping looked at her as if she had four heads. Parking was horrendous. The spots are VERY tight. It’s almost impossible to park even a small car. There is no water pressure in the shower. The pool was great, the people in the restaurant are awesome and super nice…the food is really good, and they are hard working. The distance to the beach isn’t too terrible. Wildwood beach is a long walk, so that was to be expected. The people at the desk were a mix…the one lady was friendly; one guy was nice. One guy was dry. All of the housekeepers look like they hate you. I won’t stay here again. They should have offered us something back for all of the trouble we had. We were VERY, VERY, disappointed.

This place is not what we expected from the pictures. 1. Parking is tight. Driver had to back in & out several times to get car out of spot & lot. And we had to wait for driver to pull out before we could get in car. 1 time i had to get into the passenger side. To climb into drivers seat to back car out. 2. The lock totally malfunctioned on the one door to our room. Waited over hour to get into our room. And door did not work entire stay 3. Rooms are dirty & smell. Furniture & beds should have been replaced decades ago. They were old & stained. Our room had two bathrooms. The one bathroom you had to go out to kitchen to wash your hands as it had no sink. 4. The Flat screen TV advertised are 19 inch Walmart specials 5. Kitchen is cheap plastic outdoor furniture. 6. Carpets ripped. Paint peeling. Rust in bathrooms. Carpets not vacuumed. Dishes & silverware in cabinets had dried food on them 7. On site restaurant yelled at us for sitting in there outdoor seating for too long as we watched our grandchildren playing on beach. When my husband responded the woman actually spat on him. 8. Grills were old and dirty and didn't work real great. 9. People in room next to us were sleeping on outside deck in sleeping bags. 10. Only nice thing I can say is the overworked office staff was as helpful as they could be under the worse conditions ever. For a Beach Front resort. This is wav overpriced for what you get. I've seen nicer gas stations! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Have stayed at Coliseum many times and they never disappoint! The rooms are afforable, comfy and super clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful! On the beach and has the perfect pizza spot right by the pool. Anthony's makes a delish breakfast sandwich, too! Oh and ice cream! What more could you ask for. Will 100% stay here again! Thank you for a great vacay!
