The V.I.P. Family Motel has been family-owned and operated since 1965. We offer CLEAN accommodations in a warm and FRIENDLY atmosphere. We are the perfect place to relax and enjoy family and friends. Relax on a chaise or in our sun-kissed pool while enjoying our extraordinary view of the Atlantic Ocean!
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Pros: Great location, impeccably clean and comfortable rooms, parking never an issue, amazing ownership and staff. Cons: No sun deck.
After the family's Wildwood Crest motel of choice shuttered after nearly five decades, we were left looking for something in the area to call home for a week every July. The search led to the V.I.P., and we couldn't be happier.
Quality begins with ownership, and it's immediately obvious the property has been lovingly maintained over the years. While decades-old, the rooms are modern and comfortable with great beds and useful seating areas in the living rooms. Everything is spotless- in all my traveling (of which there is a lot), I haven't come across many properties cleaner than this one.
As I have said with all motels in this section of Wildwood Crest, location is an attribute. The beach is a short block to the east and the southern end of the boardwalk isn't too far to the north. Also within walking distance are bike rentals and quite a few breakfast/lunch eateries. And because the V.I.P. is a smaller property, parking is never an issue- there is close to zero chance of returning late at night to find all the parking spaces occupied.
While the family laments the loss of our old "home away from home" in the Wildwoods, finding the V.I.P. has been wonderful and we look forward to making decades of new memories.

This is the first year that our family has stayed at the VIP Family Motel and hopefully it will be the first of many. The owners are amazing. Melissa made us feel welcome the moment we entered the office. The staff is friendly, courteous and very professional. The rooms are absolutely spotless I have never stayed in a motel with this level of cleanliness. It truly surpassed my expectations. Anything that you need the staff is very willing to provide. The children’s playground area, or “the park” as my grandchildren call it is an awesome place of entertainment for them. Numerous slides, a sandy beach, swings and a pirate ship are the highlights of the park. There is a deck with three rocking chairs where parents can sit and watch their children play. The motel is a half block from the beach and across the street from the conference park. There is ample parking and you don’t have to worry about leaving and not finding a spot when you come back. The guests who stay here have been coming back each year with some families coming more than 30 years. It is my hope that my family will be doing the same. I stay here a few times every summer and it will always get 5 stars ⭐️ from me, my family and friends! The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the rooms are always VERY clean! We look forward to coming here and I always recommend the VIP to everyone thinking about staying in the wildwood crest! Beach is convenient and across the street. They have grills if you and your family wanna just cookout on the grill and play ping pong or even shuffleboard. Lots of friendly faces and just a great atmosphere all around. Almost forgot they have a little playground for the kiddies!

Our family has been vacationing in Wildwood Crest for over 50 years. We came across the V.I.P motel in 2021 after our previous motel sold and turned condo. The family-oriented atmosphere and adjacency to the beach are premium highlights. The owners and the maintenance team go above and beyond. Any issues (minimal) that we've had were addressed immediately and the crew take pride in top-notch cleanliness. The pool is spacious and very clean as well as the awesome playground area which features a unique wooden Pirate ship and sandbox playground for the kids. We have found our new home away from home at the V.I.P and couldn't be happier.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean. The staff will stop by every day to clean your room if you need it. So close to beach. A bit of walk to boardwalk but better because it is quieter. There is a park across the street that has music, festivals, workout events and lots of open space to play. The pool is kept clean and has plenty of room for everyone. I’m booking again. 3rd year ….

We had a wonderful time! The room was beautiful, clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly, professional and go the extra mile for you. Located beach adjacent, we enjoyed an easy walk to the ocean, Centennial Park and the Wildwood boardwalk. We were able to take advantage of the beach on checkout day due to the shower room. We will be back!

This is my third trip to the VIP Family Motel and every time I’m blown away by how impeccable this place is. My extended family has been going to Wildwood Crest for over 50 years and there is no need to look any further. The VIP has wonderful, old school charm, but with all the modern conveniences. The “family” in their name reflects the way they treat all their guests. From the moment you arrive you are treated like family. We began vacationing here in 1979. We have watched this wonderful family grow and are so honored to now meet their fourth generation of hosts. We are now vacationing here with three generations of our family. The location is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The grounds are kept in very good condition. Love it here!!!

First checking in, very friendly staff and they treat you like family! They seem to remember everyone that walks in the door! I vacation single and this is a very safe place to stay. So If you vacation solo this would be the Hotel! The walls are nice and thick so you really dont hear any of your neighbors! Great location nice short walk to the beach and the pool is kept immaculate. VERY clean rooms .

Our family has been coming to the VIP for 25+ years. It's my favorite place in the world. Now I get to share it with my husband and my 6 year old daughter. She loves the pool, playground, and pirate ship and talks about them daily. I love sharing my favorite motel with her (minus some linoleum walls that I truly miss!).
