This is the first year that our family has stayed at the VIP Family Motel and hopefully it will be the first of many. The owners are amazing. Melissa made us feel welcome the moment we entered the office. The staff is friendly, courteous and very professional. The rooms are absolutely spotless I have never stayed in a motel with this level of cleanliness. It truly surpassed my expectations. Anything that you need the staff is very willing to provide. The children’s playground area, or “the park” as my grandchildren call it is an awesome place of entertainment for them. Numerous slides, a sandy beach, swings and a pirate ship are the highlights of the park. There is a deck with three rocking chairs where parents can sit and watch their children play. The motel is a half block from the beach and across the street from the conference park. There is ample parking and you don’t have to worry about leaving and not finding a spot when you come back. The guests who stay here have been coming back each year with some families coming more than 30 years. It is my hope that my family will be doing the same. This resort is by far the best place for kids the pirate ship ..the swings ..the pool.. my 2 n 6 year old had something to do all day... there's lots of other children there to for the little ones to meet .... the staff was amazing got a chance to talk to the owners they are so kind and will help your any need... I'll see u soon my kids are begging to go back .... o n extremely quiet at nite we for all the rest we needed with out the drama some resorts bring

Pros: Great location, impeccably clean and comfortable rooms, parking never an issue, amazing ownership and staff. Cons: No sun deck. After the family's Wildwood Crest motel of choice shuttered after nearly five decades, we were left looking for something in the area to call home for a week every July. The search led to the V.I.P., and we couldn't be happier. Quality begins with ownership, and it's immediately obvious the property has been lovingly maintained over the years. While decades-old, the rooms are modern and comfortable with great beds and useful seating areas in the living rooms. Everything is spotless- in all my traveling (of which there is a lot), I haven't come across many properties cleaner than this one. As I have said with all motels in this section of Wildwood Crest, location is an attribute. The beach is a short block to the east and the southern end of the boardwalk isn't too far to the north. Also within walking distance are bike rentals and quite a few breakfast/lunch eateries. And because the V.I.P. is a smaller property, parking is never an issue- there is close to zero chance of returning late at night to find all the parking spaces occupied. While the family laments the loss of our old "home away from home" in the Wildwoods, finding the V.I.P. has been wonderful and we look forward to making decades of new memories.…

Our family has been coming to the VIP for 30 years now. I can't imagine a day where we don't go to Wildwood and don't go to the VIP. The pool is great, the patio is the perfect hangout spot. The rooms are always clean and well taken care of by the wonderful owners. You're only a block from the beach and a mile from the boardwalk. The playground and the pirate ship are my 8 year olds go to hangout spots. She started yelling "Ship" as we pulled in on our first day. Can't wait to be back in 2023!

Long overdue review from Summer 2021 - looking forward to the next visit in Summer 2022! We stayed in August 2021 with my wife and two-year old daughter, and honestly it was the best vacation we had all year! Almost immediately upon staying here, you can tell that the location was very well-thought out for families: swimming pool with a children section (shallow part of pool), rooms with a kitchenette, and a playground with a cool wooden ship structure and sand to play with. Also very close to the beach and a nice pavilion/lawn. However, the best part was the staff; they actually take a ton of pride in what they do, and are proactive - specifically in what ways they can be of help - from housekeeping services to restaurant recommendations. I've been staying at the VIP since I was a kid in the 90s, and visited this past July. It was just as wonderful as it was back then. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Once again, we had a fantastic time in Wildwood Crest while staying at the VIP! Family owned and operated reflects in the care, cleanliness and family activities offered here. Great pool with comfortable lounge chairs, shady table and chairs to sit at, clean grills to cook on and an awesome playground for the kids. Just steps to the beach and a park across the street. The motel is unlike any other with modern rooms, nice seating areas, best pool area, family oriented, and close to the beach. It’s spacious, nice staff, we go there every year with our family and wouldn’t start anywhere else.

I stay here a few times every summer and it will always get 5 stars ⭐️ from me, my family and friends! The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the rooms are always VERY clean! We look forward to coming here and I always recommend the VIP to everyone thinking about staying in the wildwood crest! Beach is convenient and across the street. They have grills if you and your family wanna just cookout on the grill and play ping pong or even shuffleboard. Lots of friendly faces and just a great atmosphere all around. Almost forgot they have a little playground for the kiddies!
