The Lotus Inn is great, set back from the beach in the quieter part of Wildwood. Hotel pool is great. Rooms are very clean, alittle dated but they do very well maintaining everything. Tiny upgrades like better quality towels and pillows would go a long way. Quick Uber ride to Morey’s pier which is alot of fun for the kids. Bicycle rental and beautiful park right across the street. The beach is a block across the street but bring a beach buggy to carry your chairs, umbrellas, cooler etc, it will make your life easier. Overall great time!

I have been going to Wildwood Crest since the 1970's and have stayed in many of the motels there which were always sub par with worn carpet, a noisy AC and the smell of mildew. I took a chance on The Lotus Inn because it was near my brother's condo and a short walk to the beach. I was pleasantly surprised that our room (a B2 floorplan) was recently renovated with vinyl flooring, a new bathroom and a kitchenette. There was a separate bedroom with a queen and a double and a pullout sofa in the living room. The daily housekeeper was very accommodating and left "towel art" whenever she came to clean up. We were on the 5th floor with a balcony where you could hear and see the concerts in the park as well as the 4th of July fireworks. Judy, at the front desk was very helpful in getting us situated and letting us know about the upcoming events around town. I'm glad I took a chance on The Lotus Inn. It exceeded my expectations!

I think this is our 5th year in a row staying at the Lotus Inn. Such wonderful upgrades since the new owners took over. We booked a little late so we couldn’t get our regular room on the 2nd floor, so we stayed on the 3rd floor. They have done lots of upgrades to the rooms. In addition to the new flooring and carpeting in the bedroom, we were delighted with the addition of the closet and pantry in the living room! We usually piled our snacks and such on top of the fridge. It’s nice to have space to store it. The bathroom was also upgraded with new tiling, shower/tub insert, rack removed and replaced with a towel bar, new sink/vanity and shelving as well as new bath towels.

The staff couldn’t be nicer and the new GM John came out to greet us while we were checking in. He also greeted the next family when they arrived for check in. Nice touch! The grounds are clean, three clean grills and utensils are available for use. The pool is cleaned each morning before it opens.

The location is great! Close to Centennial Park for concerts, beach is across the street, bike rental is across the street as is a new splash park for the kids (free!). It’s not crazy crowded at this end of the island. It’s pretty quiet, even at night.

We look forward to our 2022 vacation already book and hopefully a weekend in September, too!

A stay in an ocean side suite at the Lotus Inn is beautiful. You could note the great location, just across from the beach, a park, and bike rental that gets you all over Wildwood on the Wildwood Crest bike trail. You could proclaim the view from the private balcony that serves as backdrop for the whole suite. You could even just talk about the affordability. All of these things together still fail to convey the sense of relaxed simplicity that we walked away with. Judy at the front desk offered recommendations for local take out, extended our check out time as late as she could, and answered all my nerdy architect/environmentalist questions. If you want more from a stay at the beach, you may be missing what’s truly important about this island.

The Lotus Inn was a nice place to stay. In our opinion, the most important fact about a beach hotel is its cleanliness. The Lotus is kept very clean, it even smells good upon entry, not like some beach motels that are damp and smell musty. The location is also very good, it is just one block from the beach entry after you cross Ocean Avenue. The Crest Beach is huge, it's about a 1/4 mile to the water which we love, but it is best to bring your beach cart.

I booked my room through the Hotel Tonight site, and the only issue that I had doing this, was that I did not have a choice of my room type or location. I was given room 105, which is the first floor and it is right at the pool, and next to the grill station. The pool is open from 9:00 a.m. and closes at 9:00 p.m., and kids will be kids, but that is not much of an issue. This area is noisy if you are looking for a little relaxation; people are back and forth to the office that is next door for coffee, etc., and it sounds like they are in the room with you. Our main problem here was the gentlemen who were cleaning the area after closing hours, were ridiculously loud. He (they) were cleaning the grill areas for quite some time at 10:30 pm, and talking so exceptionally loud the whole time. Then, at approximately 7:00 a.m., they (he) returned and were again cleaning the grill area for some reason, and again so loud. Unfortunately, there was no resting at all during this. If you are looking for a little relaxation, the best option would be to stay away from this bottom-floor poolside area.

Stayed in a room facing the ocean with a balcony. Nice having a separate eating area adjacent to the balcony. Everything looked well maintained and clean. Plenty of towels. Pool was a little small but open 9 am to 9 pm and was a salt-water pool. The front staff and housekeepers were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, we requested an early check in and it was no problem. Parking was very convenient.
Biggest issue - the elevator was quite slow and I think there is only 1 and it is small. Used stairs most times.

Location is great. Got the 3bd ocean front room and it's good space for 3 adults and one young kid. Good view of the ocean. room is clean and functional.

Some issues we had though some are not their faults:
- Small and slow elevator: they had just 1 elevator.. We got a 6th flr room and needed to use stairs all the time including when we checked out (granted it's the end of memorial day so it's suppppper slow)
- No dishwasher. With decent sized fridge, communal grill and quite good stock of kitchen there is no dishwasher....doing dishes are not my idea of vacation...
- Their check in time is 4pm and we did not get one min earlier even when we got caught in heavy afternoon rain we need to wait in the car...which is a shame but I understand

Overall condition is well maintained but definitely showing ages. Had a great time but probably will not stay again. Price on website is cheaper than on third party and it's around $2000 for 3 nights.

After having a horrible experience down the street at Bal Harbour, I booked Lotus Inn the morning of checking-in and they could not have been nicer! It was such a relief.

You cannot enter w/o a mask on and it's one customer per lobby.
Meghan and others who work the front desk - were beyond hospitable!
All staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Rooms are very clean and has all you need.
Toiletries, fridge, microwave, coffee, blow-dryer, etc.
Bed was comfortable too.

Overall no complaints!

I would absolutely stay here again next summer.

Thank you Lotus Inn!!
What a gem.

We went to the Lotus Inn for a girls weekend. The owner John could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The Ladies in the office were wonderful too. When we first arrived we had a handicap room. Although the room was spotless, since we didn’t need that, one of the girls called and asked if there was any other rooms available. John immediately got involved and helped us move to a different room. He even went as far as taking us to the room first to make sure that it was to our liking. He also offered to carry our bags for us, which we declined. Both rooms were spotless and smelled wonderful. Not your typical Wildwood hotel! The room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The townhouses are perfect for a family. The towels were shaped into characters on the bed and in the bathroom. Almost like we were on a cruise. It was our first time staying at the Lotus Inn and we will definitely be returning!

The hotel staff was beyond helpful and welcoming. We had a minor problem when we arrived(smoke detector battery) and within 5 minutes it was cheerfully changed. Room was clean and well stocked. The pool was beautiful, though due to the weather we did not use it. The room we stayed in was a bit dated, but had a huge balcony. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants. It's a great quiet location, with a playground literally across the street.
