Stayed in a room facing the ocean with a balcony. Nice having a separate eating area adjacent to the balcony. Everything looked well maintained and clean. Plenty of towels. Pool was a little small but open 9 am to 9 pm and was a salt-water pool. The front staff and housekeepers were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, we requested an early check in and it was no problem. Parking was very convenient. Biggest issue - the elevator was quite slow and I think there is only 1 and it is small. Used stairs most times.

We have been staying at the Lotus Inn for many years. The employees are very friendly, always ready to meet any need you may have. The rooms are very nice, and clean. Great beds, and wonderful linens! We had a wonderful view of the bay on the one side, looking out over the marshes, and the ocean on the other. Just a short walk across the street to the beach boardwalk. General manager, John, and office manager, Judy, are wonderful. Just a nice 10 - 15 minute walk, on the very wide sidewalk, to the Wildwood Boardwalk. If you are a pool person, they have a very nice heated pool, with a water fall at the one end. We would not consider staying at any other place! Definitely a 5 star rating!

When we first arrived here I was prepared to be disappointed -- the building is unremarkable from outside (none of the midcentury charm of other Shore properties), it's a long block from the beach (separated by a road and a park), and our room itself was kind of sad looking at first glance -- no art on any of the walls (?!), older kitchen with minimal amenities... BUT! From the moment we checked in, everyone was so friendly and warm -- just a lovely vibe. And the views -- simply spectacular, from the lake on one side to the ocean on the other. The pool is a nice size, with an attached baby section and a waterfall feature, and -- like everything else at the Lotus -- very clean and well maintained.

I think this is our 5th year in a row staying at the Lotus Inn. Such wonderful upgrades since the new owners took over. We booked a little late so we couldn’t get our regular room on the 2nd floor, so we stayed on the 3rd floor. They have done lots of upgrades to the rooms. In addition to the new flooring and carpeting in the bedroom, we were delighted with the addition of the closet and pantry in the living room! We usually piled our snacks and such on top of the fridge. It’s nice to have space to store it. The bathroom was also upgraded with new tiling, shower/tub insert, rack removed and replaced with a towel bar, new sink/vanity and shelving as well as new bath towels. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the new GM John came out to greet us while we were checking in. He also greeted the next family when they arrived for check in. Nice touch! The grounds are clean, three clean grills and utensils are available for use. The pool is cleaned each morning before it opens. The location is great! Close to Centennial Park for concerts, beach is across the street, bike rental is across the street as is a new splash park for the kids (free!). It’s not crazy crowded at this end of the island. It’s pretty quiet, even at night. We look forward to our 2022 vacation already book and hopefully a weekend in September, too!
