We have stayed at this hotel many times because it is reasonably priced and offers several multi-bedroom options. We have stayed in their 3-bedroom townhouses in the past and were very pleased. As we were only planning to sleep 3 nights and the hotel would only rent their larger townhouses for a full week, we took a few one-bedrooms instead. The accommodations were very basic, but fine - except that only the private bedroom has air conditioning, so anyone sleeping on the pull-out couch in the living room area is destined to have a very warm, uncomfortable night. We found it stifling. Had we known this, we would NOT have taken these rooms. Also, the laminate floor left our feet (or socks) totally filthy. Nice hotel - good value - but quality of the accommodations varies throughout hotel. I would probably have rated the hotel higher had we stayed in one of the large townhouses - but where we stayed was average at best.…
Stayed about 25 Times. Always a great family vacation. Every time Family Stayed we had a great time. “Kudos to the Front Desk Management; Especially, Judy! She has been taking care of us all these Family Years! Look forward to returning next year, again. “Bravo! Judy and Office Management!” Eric Wyatt Retired Hilton Security Director
Laura was absolutely FABULOUS on the phone as my bestie and I were looking at the Lotus inn to stay for a few days in June. She was kind, informative and welcoming. The accommodations were clean, the atmosphere was family oriented and everyone was nice! Thank you for not steering us wrong!!!
We had a good 5-night stay at this property for our first trip to Wildwood Crest. This motel is extremely clean. Front desk staff are friendly, and groundskeepers are constantly present and keeping things tidy. Excellent housekeeping. Towels are fluffy, and our kitchenette had a full sized refrigerator/freezer. There is complimentary coffee and tea in the office, and there are no beach fees. There is one elevator but it wasn’t horribly slow, as some have mentioned. The beach is across the street but it’s a long walk along a planked access path that runs through the dunes and beach foliage. Having a beach cart will definitely be helpful A few detractors: the pool, which is lovely saltwater, is situated on the north side of the 6-floor property and therefore only gets morning sun. Not much to be done about that. Our large room had one powerful AC unit in the bedroom, but if people are also sleeping on the pull-out couch (it was just the two of us) then you would have to keep the bedroom door opened to keep them cool too. While the hotel across the way has a good restaurant, there isn’t much else in walking distance so we drove a bit more than we would like. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.…
People who work there CARE about your experience. It’s clean and welcoming. Great value for the price. A/C broke (and I hate being hot). Immediately an engineer came up and offered to move us to a new room or provide multiple power fans. Awesome service!
We booked as a mixed business and pleasure stay and could not have been happier. Upon arrival the front office staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Our room was very clean, up to date and prepared for our arrival. The support staff, housekeeping and maintenance were friendly and professional. Access to the beach was very close. There is a beautiful park and playground for children across the the street. The pool was well maintained and there was ample parking on the premises. Super place to stay.
Location is great. Got the 3bd ocean front room and it's good space for 3 adults and one young kid. Good view of the ocean. room is clean and functional. Some issues we had though some are not their faults: - Small and slow elevator: they had just 1 elevator.. We got a 6th flr room and needed to use stairs all the time including when we checked out (granted it's the end of memorial day so it's suppppper slow) - No dishwasher. With decent sized fridge, communal grill and quite good stock of kitchen there is no dishwasher....doing dishes are not my idea of vacation... - Their check in time is 4pm and we did not get one min earlier even when we got caught in heavy afternoon rain we need to wait in the car...which is a shame but I understand Overall condition is well maintained but definitely showing ages. Had a great time but probably will not stay again. Price on website is cheaper than on third party and it's around $2000 for 3 nights.…
The hotel staff was beyond helpful and welcoming. We had a minor problem when we arrived(smoke detector battery) and within 5 minutes it was cheerfully changed. Room was clean and well stocked. The pool was beautiful, though due to the weather we did not use it. The room we stayed in was a bit dated, but had a huge balcony. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants. It's a great quiet location, with a playground literally across the street.
Went to Wildwood and just needed a place to stay for the night, We booked with the Lotus Inn and could not have been happier. It was late April but the room we stayed in was in perfect order as if the hotel had been open all winter. The view of the beach and the city of Wildwood and the Crest were spectacular. But to be honest the best part of our trip was dealing with the manager (Judy) who signed us in. One of the most pleasant people we've ever met. The entire staff were great but Judy was a real charm. We hope to stay there during the summer months to experience the beaches and Wildwood Crest for a longer period of time. If I were you I definitely book at the Lotus Inn!
Stayed in a room facing the ocean with a balcony. Nice having a separate eating area adjacent to the balcony. Everything looked well maintained and clean. Plenty of towels. Pool was a little small but open 9 am to 9 pm and was a salt-water pool. The front staff and housekeepers were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, we requested an early check in and it was no problem. Parking was very convenient. Biggest issue - the elevator was quite slow and I think there is only 1 and it is small. Used stairs most times.
