We stayed at this location for a week. The location was outstanding, just a block and a half walk to the boardwalk/beach. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and matched the pictures. A few challenges that prevented me from giving it 5 stars - limited parking to a single vehicle. As Sundance members, this is the only location we’ve stayed at where parking was limited to 1 vehicle. In a 2-bedroom that sleeps 6, we had more than 1 vehicle and it required us to pay for additional parking. The most affordable lot was at the boardwalk for overnight parking. While the room sleeps 6, it doesn’t comfortably accommodate 6 people. There was one couch that could seat 3-4 people if everyone sat next to one another. The table in the kitchen had 4 stool and would only accommodate 2 people to comfortably sit and eat at the table. The room didn’t have sufficient cutlery and bowls for 6 people; it’s also the only Sundance location we’ve stayed at that didn’t have a dishwasher, so we had to wash dishes after every meal we ate there. We didn’t ask for more dishes, etc. I’m sure they would have provided if asked, but it stood out to meet that it wasn’t set up for the number of people that could sleep there. Since we were in the corner, we also didn’t have any outdoor area to sit by the room. It’s also the only Sundance location we’ve stayed at that didn’t have a private, outdoor area for each room.
Overall, the stay was good. I’d suggest confirming where your room is located and if you have multiple vehicles in your group, research parking options in advance. We didn’t expect it and had to do some last minute searching. Street parking for a whole week was very expensive and not always available by the hotel.

My wife and I stayed for a week through our timeshare. Some good things: the room matched the photos. The air conditioner worked perfectly fine. The bed and linens were clean. We had all of our plates and utensils. The pool was clean. The area felt safe.

Some not so good things: parking is limited to one vehicle per booking. This wasn't a problem for us as we only had one car, but I can see this being a problem for bigger families. However with that policy, it pretty much guarantees you a spot to park so that's nice.

There's no dishwasher. Not a big deal, but be prepared to wash anything you use by hand. No oven/toaster oven so don't get things that need to be heated that way.

Some bad things: there is no daily housekeeping. You get one set of extra towels and that's it. The wifi is atrocious. Don't rely on the free wifi, make sure you can use your carrier data or you have a hotspot.

The best thing: the area. You are literally a block and a half from the boardwalk. You walk on right before the Convention Center so to actually get to the heart of the boardwalk, it's a walk, but you can't really ask for more for the price.

Overall, I'd definitely come back.

The hotel was WONDERFUL!!!! With the kind staff giving anything you need and there a place to wash clothing and there’s a place for the kids in the pool as you relax out front you’re room! Plus the hotel is close to a mini golf place the wildwood sign and a few ice cream places, plus the convention center but the only con I would say is how far some of the board walks are.

In the hotel business it is a must to treat your guests properly. There is no room service throughout your stay. You must take your dirty linens down to the front desk if you want clean anything while you stay. Only once can you have a free linen anything. If you want clean anything more then once you will have to pay for them. You take your own trash out. You have to clean your room before you leave. Vacation is a break from the every day chores in life. Not a paid reason to do it yourself. Not only are the other guests children unsupervised and ignorant but the parent are just as bad. Yes I’ve worked in the hotel business so there is a wide variety of people who are not all that bad but first and foremost taking care of a guest is what keeps them coming back for future business. Not posting signs and ignoring guest needs and comforts. This is one of many places I’ve stayed at that are not guest friendly.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I am a Sundance member using one of our weeks for the first time. This experience has really made me feel like this was a bad investment. The pictures on the website make it look like the rooms are bigger the whole apartment can fit in my living room. There is certainly not enough room for my husband, me an 11yr old and a 15 yr old. The room is dirty, upon arrival I had to clean the bathroom and wipe down all areas because it was just dingy from the towels to the bedding. The sheets in the bedroom had small blood spots on them like they may have had bed bugs at one time. My husband and I wound up going to Walmart and getting sheets, towels wash clothes and a bath mat just to may it more comfortable. The pictures on the website have mats around the pool nice and green.. NOT! The pictures on the website have nice wicker table and chair sets for use while using the geill NOT! They have those old round opucnic tables with no back that you see in the park or at a campsite or something. The olace is just horrible and nothing like the pictures. Adding a few pictures to confirm my story! We are here for a week and we have to make the best of it but I would never stay here again. Oh and the apartment has this weird smell.

Our 1st time vacationing with Sundance during off season in Wildwood, NJ was great! Anthony was very kind and helpful. You're able to get clean towels and linens mid week (so bring your own set of towels if you're staying for the week.. they also have washer/dryer on site), since their is no housekeeping entering our room due to covid. The hotel is only a block and a half away from the Wildwood sign, which is only a few feet away from the beginning of the boardwalk. A few places were open to play games and eat. Carry cash due to some places is cash only. There is a nice park only 2-3 blocks away, which includes tennis courts, a baseball field, and a basketball court. We were able to rent bikes (bike rental located to the right of the Wildwood sign; cash only. Owner there is SUPER NICE!) and explore the town! Lots of stores are close by! We would totally stay here again! Hope this was helpful. Have fun!!

My husband and I stayed for a week at Esplanade Suites at Wildwood NJ. When we arrived, Anthony from the front office cheerfully greeted us and helped us carry our groceries up the two flights of stairs. We were missing several utensils and sheets but were supplied quickly once reported. My husband went out to use the grill on sight but did not know how to start it. Anthony came out quickly after noticing my husband's dilemma and kindly help to start the grill. The rooms are small and there is no elevator, but the service was superior and the Suite was only a block from the boardwalk! Thank you, Anthony, and those working help our stay pleasant!

This was our first stay at Esplanade Suites, the room was recently renovated, it was beautiful, we were close to everything we wanted to do. The staff was exceptionally nice especially Anthony who was the manager, we decided on a whim to stay an extra day and he made it very convenient and was very helpful, he gave us a discount for the extra day. He had a great sense of humor. The day of checking out he did not rush us to get out in fact he said we could stay parked there if we wanted to go to the beach or whatever until we left to go home. We will most definitely be staying there in the future it was amazing.

This was our 4th time back at the Esplanade Suites for Beach Blast weekend and they never disappoint! . Anthony and staff are terrific. Extremely welcoming and accommodating. The updated rooms are extremely well done, pool is great for the kids and the side grassy area with grills and picnic tables are great for our group gathering. Hotel is very close to great restaurants and the boardwalk. Looking forward to going back for another weekend to get away.

On the outside Esplanade Suites looks like a cookie cutter Jersey shore hotel. Walkway outside your door with 2 chairs and a side table in front of each room. However, this resort looks to differentiate themselves from the others.

We stayed in a recently renovated 1 bedroom suite. Everything was done as best as it could be given that shore hotels tend to be older structures. Sturdy comfortable furniture and nice appliances. The bed was very comfortable. TV in both the living and bedrooms. Overall, a nice looking room.

The staff was amazing. They all work very hard to keep their clients happy and the property very clean. Any questions to the staff, they were not only willing but genuinely seemed delighted to be able to help! All areas of the property were cleaned daily. We never saw litter or dirt on anything during our stay.

Nice Job Esplanade Suites!
