Extremely iffy wifi. Rather inconvenient for those of us who don’t use cell phones as computers. Also, the toilet plunger in the bathroom seemed unhygienic. On the other hand, the room was extremely clean, updated, attractive and quiet. The flooring wasn’t carpeted, probably vinyl, which can be cleaned better than carpet.

Patricia, the owner, was very accommodating in assigning us a corner room on the highest floor. In addition to a side window, We had a private balcony allowing cool night air to circulate into the room. We also liked being able to enter our room from the outside, evading unmasked folks in lobbies and elevators. Another positive during then Covid pandemic was having two doors, the entrance and balcony allowed air circulation prior to us using the room.

I do recommend bringing an OUTLET TAPPER to charge electronics. Coffee maker with filters, microwave, refrigerator, and range were all there, but bring your own coffee if you joy making it. Individual bathroom amenities are provided.

Our volleyball team just spent a wonderful weekend at this fantastic motel. This is the best motel I've ever stayed at. Patricia was so personable on the phone that I was so excited to see the place before our trip. My stay over-exceeded expectations, especially for a person who is used to staying at top-notched hotel chains. Accommodations were beautiful with nice personal touches. Each room seemed different with its own charm. And the lounge was perfect for the girls to chill out in. The owner's pride in this family-owned establishment really shows as they took great personal care to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. It was so close to the beach and attractions too. A big kudos to Patricia, her family and the staff!!!!

We just came back from a one week vacation in Wildwood and stayed at Ala Moana Motel. We loved it! Everything is clean about this place, both outside and inside the rooms. The personnel are very nice and helpful. We had all the amenities we required in our room. We loved that it was one block from the boardwalk and one block from an ice cream shop and we did not need to use the car very much. We can't wait to go back again.

The hotel rooms are cleaned on a daily basis however since they have limited staff they clean the check out rooms first which leave your room for last. The cleaning is good but not the greatest. Our bathroom vent had a mount of dust from the day we arrived to 5 days later when we left. The internet speeds are horrific. At those speeds they should not offer free internet. The front desk hours are limited. The pool closes early. If you get back in too late you have to circle to find parking. If you have a big vehicle you also may have problems. I despise the fact that they cannot itemize and break down room charges electronically. Also beware the sales tax is astronomical.. I asked for a 2 bed queen when I made the reservation and was given a 2 bed full. Although I spoke to the owner after she combed through an old notebook for reservation notes, she told me that I could get 2 bed queens two days later for an additional cost after paying about 1600 for 5 nights. Vacation started off on the wrong foot..

We arrived on a Monday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the Bungalows. We were in E. Owner Patricia was so very gracious, helpful and accommodating as we were traveling 6 hours right after Hurricane Ida had hit. The Bungalows are in a new section and have their own paring and pool outside the unit. Everything in there was clean, spotless and what you would need and then some. 2 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 TV's, kitchen living room and the pool outfront. Also there were bbq grills, tables chairs and umbrellas along with an ice machine nearby. Literally walking distance to the end of the board walk in Wildwood, 1 1/2 blocks up and then Wildwood Crest boardwalk to the right if your looking at the ocean. You can walk to Brittons bakery, diners, restaurants, liquor stores, icecream. The location is a hidden gem. The main pool area is big, clean with plenty of seating, tables, etc. Plenty of parking too. We were only there for 3 nights but we loved it so much we will be back FYI walk to the beach is long. Its only a block to the beach but then there is quite a walk on the sand to the water. Family owned and worth every penny for the customer service, location and cleanliness! You can't go wrong. Thank you Patricia for making our stay very welcoming.

My wife and I stayed at the Ala Moana motel for October fest and this hotel is a diamond in the rough. The young lady at the front desk was so accommodating and wonderfully polite. Anything we needed she was ready to help. We ended up talking with the owners and found out it’s family owned and operated. They are the nicest owners we have ever met. The place was spotless, well maintained and up to date. One block from the beach and boardwalk. They have rooms, houses and condos. If you’re looking for a clean well maintained place to stay in Wildwood, Go to the Ala Moana Motel. We will be staying there again next year.

I've been to Wildwood many times since my first visit way back in the late 70's. I have stayed at many different hotels and motels through the years . But when I found the Ala Moana a few years ago ,I knew I would never again stay anywhere else . I have stayed there the last 3 times I've been to Wildwood. It is located within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk , the staff is extremely helpful and very friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have . Oh, and did I mention it is by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed in Wildwood.

We stayed for a week in the Bungalows. They are new and very nicely done. They have everything you need and plenty of space. They also have their own private pools that are only for the Bungalows and we really enjoyed them. Walking distance to so much including the beach. The owners Patricia and Mike are wonderful. I had the pleasure of speaking with them multiple times during our stay. Their hard work shows in how they run their business. We enjoyed staying here very much and will definitely be back. You will not be disappointed with a stay here at Ala Moana. Thank you Patricia and Mike for a wonderful stay!

This is the nicest hotel we’ve stayed at in the Wildwoods in 38 years of visits. Very nice extra features in the rooms. Especially likes the sliding wooden doors inside the patio doors. Owners very friendly.

The motel is so clean!! ..Which is so hard to find anymore. The entire staff really work hard and it shows!
The room we stayed In had very modern furnishings. My only issue was that the room was really small. When you opened up the coach bed you couldn’t open the door to go in and out. We were only there for a short weekend but if we stayed the week our family would definitely need a larger room.

I stayed in the coconut house 1st floor there was six of us, adults, there was 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch, we were comfortable there. The pull out is great for kids and the adults have the bedrooms. I would recommend it, it was clean and updated.

Hi, If you book with the motel directly it will be a money order or a check for deposit. And cash or money order for remaining balance upon arrival. Yes we will decide. Yes Ala Moana is safe days and nights. Patricia
