Stayed at The Isle Of Capri this summer. Peaceful location 1 block from the beach with easy access to sea wall walking path. Motel is well kept and very clean. There is onsite parking and a great pool with fenced kiddie end. I would highly recommend staying here. I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints.
I had the opportunity to stay at the Isle Of Capri several times in 2018. The motel was renovated this past winter. New beds, sleeper couches, linens, fixtures, doors and painted inside and out. The outdoor area also was refurbished with the pool painted, umbrellas,a new gas grill and plantings. This motel is located in North Wildwood on Ocean Avenue and is 1 block from beach. The area is quiet yet not too far from The Boardwalk. There is a parking lot, A/C and rooms with stoves (efficiency units). The new owners take pride in their motel and are on site. The motel is VERY clean which a big deal for me. We stayed in a efficiency unit. This is our new place to stay while in the Wildwoods. We will be regulars!!
We stayed at the island of capri recently. It's a very nice hotel. Very clean. Quiet which I like and very family oriented. The managers are extremely nice. The only downfall are the rooms are very small. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place.
Was in Wildwood for the 4th of July this past week. We took the kids down to the beach and it was just such a nice day we did not want to leave. It was not as busy as I expected it to be on a holiday so there were vacancies all over. I did a search for hotel rates for the night and I was routed to this hotel for what seemed to be a great rate, but when I called I was informed by the receptionist that there was an error on the booking site and that rate was not accurate and could not be honored. However Gail, the owner, called me back not even 10 minutes later, apologized and said she would honor the rate and was extremely sincere in her offer. We went over and met with Gail to finalize the room, she was so kind and even allowed the kids to take a dip in the pool after she had already closed it up -- the kids were ecstatic! Gail went above and beyond to make sure we were all satisfied and I even called her to schedule my next visit in a couple of weeks to the same hotel. Yes, the rooms are dated, but where I come from you cannot judge a book by its cover, and that is true at the Isle of Capri. It may not be the most updated hotel in town but the atmosphere is warm and friendly, that's what's important to me and the fact that it was super clean, we did not even have a mess to clean up but I still left the maid a $5 tip just because she keeps a clean hotel! I also wanted to mention that the other guests (a very large family who are regulars there I believe) staying at the hotel were also very friendly and made us feel welcome there as well. Thank you Gail and we will see you again very soon!…
This hotel is wonderful! Great location, adorable, quaint facade and looks amazing at night! Wonderful pool too and one block from the beach! The only complaint I have is the really bad beds. We slept horribly. Just because of that I don't think we'll be going back. We loved our stay, just didn't love our sleep!
