Superb central location at beach and boardwalk..two pools, one overlooking Atlantic Ocean..wide variety of accommodations, king size beds...efficiency units and suites..ref/micros in all motel rooms, DVD,phones, safes, WIFI..noted for cleanliness, beautiful rooms, service and family clientele..all rooms are smoke-free..outdoor smoking..no pets..free parking..
This motel was not as advertised. The floor plan didn't reflect what was actually in the room. Shower was dirty, showerhead was loose, soap from the previous guest was still on top of the shower, the window leaked because of Tropical Storm Ophelia, and the toilet leaked. Speaking of Tropical Storm Ophelia, we tried to cancel because of not feeling safe going down because of the storm but was told we couldn't cancel without a refund so we went down. Luckily the storm wasn't as bad as we thought. Plus we were getting down there late and was told someone will be in the office until 10pm but we got there before 10pm and nobody was there. Had to call the number and wait in the wind for 10 minutes. We were also going to pay in cash when we got there but to find out that they ran my card without my permission to train someone. I will not stay at this so called Motel ever again! …

I spent $796 to book two nights at this hotel from 8/23 to 8/25. My entire family got bit by bed bugs all over our bodies. We reported it to the hotel front desk, who gave us a cream for the bug bites. The beds were filthy and small. After checking out, we had to see a doctor because of the extreme itching and redness from the bed bug bites. Management doesn't want to deal with this issue. We had to wash and dry everything once we got home to ensure we didn't bring bugs home. This is a horrible hotel like nothing I’ve ever had to deal with before.

Hotel wouldn’t let me cancel and also told me I wouldn’t get charged for the booking or the cancellation fee. Booking price ended up going through and I couldn’t get my money back. This place was horrible and did not help me with anything.

I would like to thank the young lady at the front desk that made it possible for my family vacation to be saved. She was so helpful and went above and beyond for us. Long story short we had to relocate to this hotel due to the original hotel I had chosen ended up being inhabitable. We enjoyed our stay here and the vicinity was fairly clean. Our room was clean and Acs worked pretty good. With this being a last minute switch of hotels for us, it worked out great. The location is right on the boardwalk. We did end up losing power but that wasn’t the hotels fault it and it came back up within a hour.. although still scary.

If you want to sleep on a dirty sheets for about $300 a night, then come here. This place is a joke. It's evident that the management doesn't care about this place at all or the way people are treated when they come here.

We've been coming to AA Heart of Wildwood for many years. We came when the kids were little and the owner was Mary. We enjoyed coming because location was very close to the boardwalk and she took pride in owning this hotel. And it showed with how clean it was and how she kept things up to date. But since the new owners have taken over, I honestly would not come back here next time I'm basing my answer on the fact that AA Heart of Wildwood customer service and just overall quality of the room I had. There was a serious issue The room had no smoke detectors at all. When I arrived on Sunday I notified the front desk. They inform me that they would get one for my room immediately. Sunday night when we arrived back to our room after an evening on the boardwalk there was no smoke detector. I woke up the next morning and informed the front desk again. Monday night the same thing. By Tuesday morning I had enough and I demanded a smoke detector be placed immediately otherwise I was going to file a complaint At this point they finally found a smoke detector and replaced it. The rooms were not kept clean by the maid staff while we were staying there things were left on the floor soap scum around the shower and sink. Things were broken in the room were non-operational and out dated. If you have an issue and you need to call the front desk there's no phone in the room. The hotel is in a desperate need for a major update. I feel like they need a lot of updates to things. I informed the front desk about the cleanliness of the room items broken in the room and the smoke detector I requested the discount. The girl at the front desk told me that she would contact the owner. Upon my last day when I was checking out I was informed that they would not be giving me a discount. The owner is not present at the hotel and doesn't seem to care about it at all. It's just a moneymaker They don't care about people safety The quality of the hotel whether or not things are being taken care of properly. If we return back to Wildwood next year we will not be staying at this hotel. …

BEWARE! Shady business practices and a complete waste of time/money. The most arrogant people I have ever had business with (with exception to the receptionist). Not to mention, the photos online aren't an accurate depiction of the motel's current status, or at least not in the smaller building. 1. Owners and management are incredibly rude and money hungry. They will not accommodate you in any way if there is a problem. They speak to you as if you are the problem even though you are the one paying and dodge you at any cost to avoid accountability. (scroll through some of the bad reviews on here and you can get a small glimpse of their condescending attitude through the way they respond to people.) *If they can't be hospitable, then why be in the hospitality business? Literally the definition is contradictory to the experience I had. I don't throw these words around lightly, the interactions were shockingly bad.* 2. Power Outage with zero attempt of reimbursement in 90° weather (not even a partial reimbursement)...not even a drop of sympathy from them or a call/email to let anyone know beforehand. 3. Rooms were dirty (bed/floor) 4. Window blinds were broken so you can see right into our room from the outside. 5. Old flimsy doors. 6. You can literally hear everything and everyone from outside as if they are in your room. (Probably due to the old doors) 7. Rusty mini fridge with water all over the floor. 8. Bathroom sink faucet was defective. 9. Sketchy greenish pool. ***I'd recommend staying somewhere in Wildwood Crest or literally any other motel/hotel other than this place if you want to enjoy your vacation and be treated politely as paying customer....AS YOU SHOULD.***…

I was highly recommended to come to this hotel. We requested building one because we wanted to be near the hot tub and pool on the roof top ! Well we get there and the hot tub is a nasty brown/green and when it rain it pours over the top into the pool. Said something to the front desk and could care less. We were there for 4 nights and had to use the other building pools. Also the ice bin was broken so we had to go across the street to one of the other buildings to get it. The room was clean which was a good thing but we will not be returning. As a business owner these things should not be left broken. There are so many places to stay here that leaving these things not fixed will be a downfall…………

When I booked my room, the motel staff immediately called me to confirm my stay and find out what floor I wanted my room to be on. When my family and I arrived, the motel lobby was clean and the staff was so friendly. We ended changing our minds about what floor we wanted and the staff was very willing to accommodate us. The room was very neat and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The fact that they are on the boardwalk made it that much better. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Wildwood.

Was here last year and enjoyed the Country music Fest from their ocean view rooms. As usual it was fantastic! Staff were friendly, Very accommodating and still one of the cleanest hotels in Wildwood and they spoke of a new rooftop swimming pool with a hot tub ready for this year! Wish I was there.
