PROS- My wife and I were in the area on business and stayed at this Marriott on Sunday night, 5/2/2021. The hotel itself is beautiful, staff very friendly, rooms were clean and quiet. CONS- 6:30pm we ate in their Pancetta restaurant, maybe only 8 people in the place, food and service very good, "EXCEPT for their BARTENDER working Sunday night." I ordered my all time favorite a Bourbon Manhattan which is a popular drink that any bartender knows how to make, "EXCEPT this guy" They brought my drink to the table, a glass full of ICE and three Olives in the drink, Manhattan's don't get served with a full glass of ice and certainly, most definitely do not get served with olives. I paid $19.00 for a drink that was not worth $1.00, I pointed it out to our server named Rachid who was not a bartender himself and had no clue. I was to tired to argue or complain so I just removed the olives and drank it. Second go around I asked for a bourdon on the rocks to see what the moron bartender would make me this time, surprising he got it right but charged me a dollar more, I paid $20.00 for the single pour bourbon on ice. Beautiful hotel, food good in the Pancetta Restaurant, but don't order anything other than food. You order a wine and may get a beer, you order a Manhattan and you could get anything, like me, your'll get half of a Manhattan and half of a Martini, if the same bartender is working that night. I enjoy a good meal and good drink after a long day and this is not the place to get a good drink, find another hotel if you like a good drink to relax at the end of the day. Also they have a Starbucks on the first floor and even though they advertise Open Times, they open when they please. Monday morning showed they open at 6:30am, after a few trips to the lobby to find out they were closed was frustrating, they finally opened at 7:30am another disappointment.

I used to stay here a lot. What a disappointment. On a recent stay I found a Subpar room quality, poor housekeeping, and bad customer service. Stay away and go somewhere else. Not worth the price nor the Marriott brand.

I must acknowledge and congratulate Karen Sanz ! I have no words to express how thankful I am for her service. I called for three consecutive days trying to arrange an amenity. What amazed me was her attention to detail. The second and third day she remembered me , remembered everything we talked about the amenity( she even remembered my name ) Customer service like that I appreciate! Thank you for taking your time making suggestions ( even when I didn’t know what I was looking for) . I explained it to you ( the occasion), you put your heart into it and gave it all!( and that means a lot). An applause to you ! You’re such an asset !

In town dealing with a stressful family issue, and I didn't expect this Marriott facility to add to our stress. Room was ok. Beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, this was the only positive. Checkin was ok - given a copy of the carry out menu that's clearly out of toner and illegible. The fact that they would even give that out to guests is crazy. Then I'm told wait time for breakfast would be about an hour. No excuse for that, considering how empty the parking lot is. They call in someone from home if they get an order??? There's no vent in the bathroom, so very hot and steamy. A/C in the room was iffy - was set at 68, and still hot in the room. After the first night, never got room service, and no notice that wouldn't be done. Go down to the desk about 8pm, and inquire - they only offer that for over 3 nights? Wow.. Ask for towels (at least 2 in the room were dirty - looked like they got pulled off a dusty shelf or something. Asked for 4 coffees and a couple cups. Get a back with other 'stuff', but didn't notice there were only 2 coffee's and no cups until I get back to the room. Then also realize those were decaf. Back down, and get cups, and told they don't have any regular coffee but will send someone up. Little later, get 3 delivered, not the 4 I asked for. Also found they charged an extra $50/day for 'incidentals'. Really? They have to charge me upfront, then took 5 days to get the updated charge? Was a huge disappointment that the hotel restaurant had limited hours, and couldn't even get room service for food. No restaurants in the area were open late, and stuck with fast food after a stressful day. I understand these are crazy times, but didn't expect this kind of poor service from a Marriott. And then I leave a comment detailing this after my stay, and get an apology from what I'm guessing is a corporate person, telling me they'll turn it over to Teaneck, and a week later still no comment, call, or reply from them.

Nice property currently with minimal staff, all wearing masks and all practicing social distancing. Large self-parking lot, friendly and helpful staff and clean facility. restaurant is closed for seating but open for take out meals. Spacious and clean rooms with good (not great) internet and large tv. 2 minutes off the highway.
