The Whistling Swan is super charming and the inn keepers make you feel like family. We have stayed here many times and look forward to many more stays. The rooms are each uniquely decorated as well as super clean. The one inn keeper, Ros, makes a DELICIOUS breakfast every morning and makes you feel like you’re at a home away from home. There are many great activities and restaurants in the area. It is a magical little getaway that that will not disappoint. Can’t wait to go back!!

While we are all waiting for “this to will pass”, why not retreat to a small inn and wash those cares away? From the first conversation on the phone to book until the last on the porch, these innkeepers genuinely care. Comfy bed with the softest of sheets, a large whirlpool tub to wash those cares away, homemade brownies in the room with other snacks, and blueberry pancakes on the veranda! Social distancing, small inn, and tentative staff. Wonderful dinner nearby at Bell’s Mansion. Outdoors of course! We all need a “safer” place to escape the stress of this pandemic. Look forward to booking again when my fractured arm fully heals and I can bicycle once again!

Had a "girls weekend" away with my sister at the Whistling Swan Inn. Beautiful rooms and friendly innkeepers. Enjoyed the special touches of home-baked brownies and snacks in our rooms. Liked having breakfast outside on the veranda, especially during these COVID-19 times. Thanks Roz and Tom!

The room was very nice, the wrap around porch with seating was perfect for lunch and dinner outdoors. After dinner the garden has a little table facing west that was perfect for me to enjoy a cigar wile watching the sun set. We had a very pleasant stay. I only gave it a 4 because the mini fridge was not working, but it didn't hinder us as we had come with an ice filled cooler anyway.
