A must stay when life brings you to the Jersey Shore. Steps away from a super quaint and beautiful historic area and within just a few blocks of the shore. What sets this place apart was the incredible hospitality by everyone at the front desk. Super accommodating. Kim was the ring leader and the first person that greeted us on our check-in date. She couldn't have been more hospitable! All of their recommendations were spot on as well. Their lobby area is an awesome place to just sit and relax. Another awesome part of this Inn are all of the outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the scenery. Look forward to coming back. PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend.

I am from NJ, but not familiar with the shore. I knew I was looking for something fabulous, and I found it. The Chateau is decadent!! I was so impressed with everything!! The entrance and foyer have beautiful sitting areas to enjoy wine or iced tea or coffee. And the rooms are beautiful!! Clean and spotless! Towels are soft and don’t reek of bleach! The staff are wonderfully friendly. I truly can’t wait to return!!

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and clean - we didn’t hear much noise from hallways and the train only came by once or twice. The receptionist was super nice and knowledgeable. The location was great and being able to walk to other events in town. I would love to stay here again.

A beautiful, well kept property. April, at the front desk, was welcoming. Tea and coffee is always available in the front room. Our double queen room was elegant, comfortable and immaculate. A refrigerator and microwave was in our room, though we used neither. Bicycles are available and are perfect for investigating the beach town. This is our third stay at The Chateau, surely not our last!

The big deal here is location - 1/2 mile walk to the boardwalk and less to the village business area. It's also across the street from the lake (large pond?) and park, so well situated. We also liked the fact that verandas surround the building on all levels so we could sit out and enjoy the ocean breezes. The room (a deluxe King) was surprisingly small and lacked amenities like a choice of pillow (uncomfortable) and had a tiny bathroom with barely any storage. The "dressers" were really just side tables, though a very small closet had room to hang things. Don't pack a lot. A small, empty fridge under a little island was meant for drinks in this dry town. Decor was nothing special but all in all reasonably comfortable. We were surprised that there is no food available at the hotel. What was once their restaurant is now just a lounge with water, tea and coffee available for free. For the price, we were surprised. Housekeeping were friendly and did a good job (we opted for one cleaning over 5 nights). The front desk was a mixed experience depending on who was on duty. Folks were friendly, but strong smell of cigarette smoke and lack of good information from the person who checked us in contrasted with another person who gave people all sorts of information and suggestions. In all, a very pleasant stay in a place with some real character.

The management treated us very poorly because we had booked thru an approved 3rd party. We were given a room instead of the sweet we paid for on the 2nd foor even tho my husband cannot walk stairs.no elevator. They could care less saying it was “out of their hands”. We travel often to nice places and have never experienced such rudeness. Beware the attitude especially if you don’t book directly.

Our first time visiting Spring Lake. The Chateau was wonderful quaint place to stay. Rooms and property are spotless. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. Across the street from beautiful lake and Divine Park. Walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. There are complimentary coffee, tea etc in lobby area. We had a wonderful anniversary getaway! Definitely returning in the future!

My husband and I were looking to just get away for the weekend but stay local . I’ve heard really good things about this inn in this quaint little town and I must say we were not disappointed . The staff was very attentive and the room was comfortable and clean . We will definitely be going back closer to the summer which I’m sure would be more pleasurable for walking around this beautiful town .
