Returned to the Chateau and were overwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff and owners as well as the accommodations. It is a very special place in our hearts, and we have already booked 3 future stays. You cannot do better,
Lovely stay, very neat and clean hotel…next time we will definitely reserve a larger room and in well enough time. We even stumbled on fireworks from the boardwalk on Thursday evening during my the husband Chris’ birthday celebration. Nice! Thank you.
The Chateau Inn And Suites in Spring Lake, NJ is a gem of a place to stay. The staff are so accommodating and hospitable. The Inn is a short walk to the beach and downtown. There is also a beautiful church (St. Catherine's) within a very short walking distance. The room was very clean with all amenities and the staff gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner. We cannot wait to go back and stay at the Chateau Inn.
Great place to stay. Clean, quiet, and close to the beach, lake, church, and downtown where you can shop for all kinds of stuff. For the beach, you get complimentary beach passes and they also provide beach towels and beach chairs as well. Highly recommended.
The Chateau is my favorite US place to stay. It's an oasis of calm, with helpful staff and refreshing drinks like cucumber water, ice tea, and coffee available all day and evening at the reception lounge. Their cotton candy taffy is also a delicious treat (beware: quite addicting). Their outdoor sitting areas, which are many in cozy communal use areas, made me feel welcome as if I was at home. A short walk to the beach and town as well as train station made it convenient even without a car. Last but not least, the room was clean, luxurious, and, most importantly, practical.
The Chateau Inn and Suites became “our place” almost immediately upon entering the lobby. The operation is run like a family. The rooms are extremely well appointed and impeccably clean. Our short stay was very comfortable. So much so that we booked a longer stay for the upcoming Fall. We cannot say enough about the staff. Each one is excellent - very thoughtful, friendly and helpful. They make you feel “at home”. We are looking forward to our next stay at this well-run and beautiful inn.
We are beyond grateful for the thoughtful, kind assistance provided by April, the manager, and her staff. April took time to understand our needs and located the perfect accommodations for my husband and me, our 3 daughters, their husbands and our grands-- all of us traveling distances to attend a Celebration of Life for my recently deceased sister. Upon arrival we were welcomed by helpful, considerate staff and lovely accommodations. The Chateau everyone associated with Chateau went out of their way to make our stay warm and comfortable during a difficult time.
What a wonderful time we had at the Chateau! We were warmly greeted by Sage with a nice bottle of wine left for us by April. We loved the wine glasses from the beautifully decorated lobby. Our suite was very comfortable, and it was great having a separate sitting room. The water pressure in shower was perfect and the jacuzzi tub too! The complimentary coffee was very good and available all day. We were so pleased that Amanda recommended that we stay at the Chateau that we wanted to share our recommendation too!
I've stayed in other Inns in Spring Lake, NJ (which I think has more charm than Cape May) and this is by far the most comfortable and luxurious of them all. The owners Scott and Kim have spared no expense in creating an environment of beauty and warmth. April and Ralph as general manager and caretaker provide the attention to detail that one looks for when staying somewhere. It's immaculate. The thing is-- when you're in a place as elegant as the Chateau-- you could feel uncomfortable or like you can't relax. But it's not like that at the Chateau. I mean-- it IS elegant. But it is also friendly, warm and inviting. There's a skill and talent to running such a place. And all these people have the gifts needed to make your stay memorable in the best possible way. My sister and I stayed for what was to be one night to visit our uncle. We didn't want to leave and April graciously worked out accommodating us for another night. If we could live here permanently we would. Alas... The beds are very comfortable (and we stayed in 2 different rooms and the comfort level was the same.) I have back issues and for me to say I was comfortable is a big deal. I could go on and on-- the location is great and walkable. The view out the windows is green and lush even in winter. You can walk through the lanes around the lake or into town or up to the beach. I'll stop because I want to go have another cup of tea in the lounge--…
What can I say other than I love The Chateau Inn &Suites!! It is a beautiful place to stay no matter what the occasion. My daughter booked the Chateau Inn & Suites for her Wedding guests and the accommodations, hospitality and experience was truly perfect and so very special for all. This time around was for me, and I was in need of a good night sleep after a hectic holiday visit, and prior to a long drive back home. I was welcomed by Amanda and April and from the start they were outstanding with their service! From booking, to their warm greeting, from my beautiful room, to their special extras, they made my stay awesome! They were thoughtful, helpful and so pleasant! They are the reason I will make Chateau Inn my home each time I am here in NJ! Thank you and see you again! Rosanne…
