This place was absolutely amazing! So sorry we were only there for one night. The staff were great, the room and whole establishment was beautiful. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Just truly a wonderful experience in every way! I will definitely be back!

My wife, Lynn, and I stayed at The Hewitt Wellington for 3 nights recently and had a wonderful experience. We reserved suite 5 which was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We had a nice view of the lake and also enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch. Also, it’s only two blocks from the beach. The entire staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend staying at The Hewitt Wellington when in Spring Lake

We expected a lot since this Inn has been in business for quite a while. The staff were very friendly and it was clean. BUT… this place needs some attention. We had a room with a balcony in the front. I can understand that this is an old building but that doesn’t mean the furniture needs to look old. In our room the side table had no knobs or handles. They were missing. Another side cabinet had a broken handle. The faucet was literally just placed in the sink-no caulk. You literally could turn the entire faucet. There was no side table on one side of the bed. If they rearranged the room there would be room. The curtains covering the door to the balcony had a thin curtain with no shade. The morning light woke us up. The morning continental breakfast had no half and half for the coffee-just fake creamer-really??!! This place isn’t cheap, but they decorate and take care of it as if it is. Very dissatisfied!…

We were pleasantly surprised with our visit. We were in large corner room, with separate sitting room. (I think room 28?) Bed was comfortable, lots of seating, temperature control in the room, and friendly staff! We did not experience any issues during our visit. Be warned you may have lots of stairs to get up to your room, but this old beautiful building did not disappoint. Would stay here again!

The Hewitt Wellington is now among one of my favorite "get away" places. The historical ambience is well maintained, the rooms are beautiful and clean, the employees are friendly, and it's quiet. The location is perfect, too! Overlooking the lake and the ocean, it's a short walk to the boardwalk and into the town of Spring Lake. Simply perfect! I've been there twice in two months. I can't wait to go back.

Staff was very nice. Had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning and coffee all day. Had a separate sitting room from bedroom which works great for a family. Was a great place to return to at night to relax

Clean, cute, good location. Full of character. It’ll be really nice in the summer months but I was there when it was cold. Friendly front desk as well. Each room is a little different. Spring lake is a beautiful Area.

This is my wife and my fourth time staying at the Hewitt Wellington. It’s a great, upscale B&B in a quaint town. About a 10 minute drive from more lively towns. We prefer the quietness of Spring Lake.

Super nice boutique style condominium hotel in lovely Spring Lake NJ. My husband & I enjoyed a long weekend here in the off season & we enjoyed everything. The room (#6) was nice & comfy & the continental breakfast a nice plus. The common area was nice & we will definitely be back.

Stayed with my husband overnight at this adorable boutique hotel. Close to pretty much anything . Staff was helpful but the charm and uniqueness made it a great experience. We stayed in room 29 which has a view of the lake and is freestanding behind the main building . Very nice private location. Room was so adorable. Would definitely stay again!!
