It's has been said numerous times on Trip Advisor that the Windjammer is outdated in decor, this is true. Also it has been said numerous times that the staff is so nice and accommodating (it is famly run), this is also true and much more important to me than updated furnishings. Just returned from a 4 night stay with my... More

We stayed at the Windjammer for an overnight on a two day trip to the beach recently. I was personally curious as to how the place would be as I remember when it was built back in the early 70s when I was spending the summer at Seaside Park as a college student. We were greeted by a friendly staff... More

I've been going here for the past 15 years. We go 3-4 times a summer. It is very kid and family friendly. The pool is the best in seaside. Happy hour is a bonus. The breakfast in the restaurant is always delicious. Rooms are ok and most need updating but it's down the shore so what can you expect. Always... More

Wonderful location -- one block from an incredible beach, nice staff, great pool, but rooms are dated. Efficiency had RV kitchen from the 1960s. Electric burners and stove but no microwave or coffeemaker. Rusty A/C but worked great. All in all, we had a great week there.

Decided to stay here based on Trip Advisor reviews. The positives: great location, close to beach, happy hour, pool area. Unfortunately, the negatives: no plastic covering on mattress(one review stated there was), musty, burn holes in carpet, dingy, shabby room, sporadic WiFi service, outweighed the positives. Sorely in need of upgrades! Will not return!

Expect fresh sheets & a clean sink. The grounds are sweet, the rooms are spotless and the pool is sparkling. Sit by the pool or sip salty margaritas or foamy beers at happy hour. Wake to a filling breakfast, sample butler served hor-dourves, or a tasty lunch. A block to the ocean, a block to the bay, and a short... More

My large family just cannot wait to come to the 'Jammer every year. Joe and staff greet and treat you like family and the atmosphere around the pool and hotel is just that- family like. Starting your day on the sunny deck with coffee and a crumb bun from nearby Park Bakery with the ocean breeze or eating a delicious... More

The owner and staff will go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible at this hotel situated in a quiet section of Seaside resort , a walkable distance between the ocean and the bay. Beach passes included; get breakfast availability, lunch and happy hour available during the shore season . Reasonably priced and clean with... More

This hotel helps make our yearly family vacation the good time it is, year after year. The rooms are clean, and the pool area is very well kept. Having the restaurant/bar upstairs works wonders. They make good food, and have a great spot for happy hour. On top of everything else - what makes this place great are the owners... More

I actually hate to give this place a bad review because the staff are so incredibly kind and happy. They really are. I have a feeling that the cost of maintaining this building and what would be an unimaginable cost to completely remodel it are beyond the means of the owners. We booked a room for the week for my...
