My family took a long weekend away on the Jersey Shore, and were so lucky to find a temporary home at the Beacon House. Per COVID-19 safety protocols, the property, including our cottage were all clean and all measures were taken to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff. Our cottage, while small, was perfect for the needs of our family of four (I would choose a bigger accomodation if going with a larger group). Manager Claudette, was always on hand to provide extra towels, answer questions or provide a friendly hello. The pool was a delight to have on mornings when beach crowds were too much. And of course, the location! The Beacon House is about a block or so from the beach, and passes are provided, along with towels and chairs if you need.

Warm and friendly staff, great location, beautiful room and breakfast. The beach tags we were given were a life saver as they were not selling anymore the 2 days we were there. Pool was a refreshing way to wind down after a hot day on the sand and in the ocean. Used the complimentary bikes to see Sea Girt and grab a bottle of wine for unwinding on the patio. Clean rooms and felt safe and sanitary in this crazy Covid world. We will be back.

Not only was the property beautiful, it was spotless. It is obvious that Candy and her staff take great pride in the houses from the grounds to the rooms to the AMAZING and lovingly prepared breakfasts! Candy was even kind enough to give up some of her recipes! My son and I had a great time in and out of the inn. The Beacon House provides bikes to ride, sunchairs, towels and is generous with recommendations and local info. Truly the best inn I have stayed in to date and look forward to going back in the near future. Highly recommend the house and the town...a really nice break from quarantine in a safe, carefully planned environment.

The first time we stayed at Beacon House we had driven to the Jersey Shore with our sons (8 and 10) and were accomodated in the building that has family rooms. Our expectations were modest and were exceeded in every way. The room was charming and the bathroom was immaculate. Breakfast was excellent and the boys loved it too. Last year we returned with one son, now fully grown and in college, and stayed in the main building. Our room had a bedroom separate from the sitting room with pullout and everything was spotless. We especially enjoyed cheese and crackers on the front porch with white wicker furniture and flowers all around us and borrowing the bicycles to ride around lovely Sea Girt. Can't wait to go back and am calling to book it now!

I've stayed at The Beacon House several times and it never disappoints. The staff is so friendly. They allow you to check in early if it's possible or they ensure you get beach tags so you can relax on the beach until check in time. When you check out you can still use the beach all day and shower up in the cabana to extend your stay. This time we stayed in the Carriage House which had a kitchen, picnic table and gas grill. It really was a perfect three day getaway, for just two nights stay!
