I have stayed at this property many a time and have always claimed it to be home away from home. Since the “lock Down” things have gone sideways. The restaurant was open for room deliver or pick up however only had burgers, wings & frys....not good for a type 2 diabetic. The food shop was also stocked rather well, again, nothing for those that want to watch their sugar intake. The hotel staff are awesome and are doing their best under these conditions, however, there needs to be forethought about the food delivery versus running out of anything. With not really giving travelers a break on cost, being higher than other properties, one would hope they would provide a little better proactive thinking. I shall return when this so called “safe lock down” ends.

Hotel's Favorite
Located in Rutherford NJ it’s great place to stay. Close to New York City with a modern vibe. It’s a very clean, comfortable, and affordable hotel. I’ve stayed several times and the rooms are delightful. When out of town family or friends visit, it’s central to all major highways and 15 min from Newark International Airport. The staff are professional and very accommodating

My friends and I recently stayed at the Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel. This worked out perfectly for our trip to Madison Square Garden for a concert. We were coming from Pennsylvania, and did not want to deal with driving in Manhattan or the parking situation. This is a perfect and convenient location - right off of the expressway and 20 minutes to the city. There is a bus stop directly across the street with a bus to Port Authority every 10-15 minutes. The staff greeted us immediately upon entering and were very helpful and friendly. They handed me a bus schedule and told us exactly where and what to do, even the amount of bus fare! This has been my third or fourth stay. The hotel is very modern and clean, and looks recently renovated. Unfortunately i don't have photos of the room - next time!I will definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends. If I have any criticism at all, it's that it's directly off of the expressway, so traffic can be heard from some of the rooms.

mundi77, Thank you for your most recent feedback regarding your stay at the Renaissance Meadowlands. I am so happy to hear you were able to take advantage of the many transit options within walking distance from the hotel or even short Uber ride away. I agree.... Why deal with all the city craziness when you can stay 10 minutes away. We look forward to your return visit the next time you are attending a concert in the city or visiting the American Dream.

I recently visited the Renaissance while attending an event with the American Dream team, I will definitely be back to experience an over night stay especially with the location so close to American Dream. The event was great and the space looked like there had been improvements and updates made since I was there last year attending a different corporate event. Most lobby spaces look worn and outdated but this looked fantastic - I briefly spoke to an employee at the bar and asked if the hotel had a soft renovation and her response was, "There's a new Chief in town getting the work done". So big kudos to the new chief and his team. I will definitely refer this location space to my clients and friends for future events. All staff I interacted with were warm and friendly as well.

Brian f, Thank you for your excellent review. We are extremely excited to be the American Dreams first partner hotel. I am happy to tell you that their are more renovations beginning Jan 2020. We are doubling the size of our fitness center while adding state of the art fitness equipment, adding 2K sq ft. of meeting space, all new 55 inch 4K HD TV's and additional entrance and lobby renovations as well. No doubt Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel will continue to be the premiere hotel in the Meadowlands area.
