I think when it comes to hotels this brand does not live up to the Hilton reputation. I was shocked with how Diamond members are treated. Not even receiving a free bottle of water when checking into the hotel is a minimal requirements. I hope at some point this hotel understand that guest are about brand loyalty but this hotel makes me want to go back to Starwood aka Marriott for my next 45 stays for the remainder of the year for traveling.

I recently stayed at the Watt Hotel with my two teenage kids for two nights when we planned to visit NYC. The hotel is beautiful. Parking is easy and the train to the city is literally right across the street. We were pleasantly surprised upon check in that breakfast was included in our rate, we didn't know that when we made the reservation. The rooms are beautiful and the whole place feels brand new. My only complaint is that there are no electrical outlets adjacent to mirrors outside the bathroom. This was inconvenient in that the only place my daughter & I could blow our hair dry was in the bathroom. Tough when you're traveling with 3 people and all need to shower and get ready in the morning. The hotel is great if you're planning to go into the city for the day and don't need a place to relax for a few hours in the late afternoon. We found ourselves searching out a coffee shop in the city to camp out for a few hours before we went to a broadway show in the evening. The hotel was just a little too far away (45 minutes on the train) to do a back-and-forth and have any time to relax.

The photos look much better than the actual property. The room is modern and clean with industrialised feel, and good high ceiling. It is next to the street and train station/track, but quiet - it is Rahway anyway. Hot breakfast is terrible, even Holiday Inn Express provides better one, just stick to the cereals, bread, yogurt and fruits.

My stay was a short one, arrived late after midnight. Check in staff was very helpful. Now had to park the truck in a parking garage around the corner which took more time away from getting some rest. Room was nice, very modern and spacious. Sleep was short, down for breakfast, room was just a regular conference room, tables set up against the wall with coffee, juice machine, other common items but very limited choices. the HOT portions were cold, when the Hot scrambled eggs came out they were runny, Bacon was good and crispy. I wouldn't choose to stay here again for the value anyways.

Due to the illness of a family member I found myself in Rahway without a car and in need of a hotel for a couple of nights. All the well known chain hotels were too far away from my mother’s home. I booked the Watt as it is right near the train station. What a great little hotel in the Hilton family of hotels. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was large and clean and quiet with free WiFi. A perfectly simple buffet breakfast in the morning - scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, oatmeal and the standard coffee choices. There is a lively but uncrowded cocktail lounge in the lobby - a jazz ensemble was performing on Saturday night. I did little more than take a perk at the rooftop terrace but it seems lovely. The shock kicker ending is that this oasis was less expensive than any of the other, less accessible options. If you GI d yourself in the vicinity of Rahway - including Newark or NYC give this place a go!
