Rooms were all booked at the Hyatt where I was attending a business conference, so I thought I would try a new type of accommodations for business travel - a B&B. I am thrilled I tried this avenue. The Inn at Glencairn was perfect! Close to Lawrenceville for many wonderful dinner options (Vidalia was a great Italian spot - thank... More

Lydia made me feel like an honored guest. Her breakfasts sustained me and were delicious. The large umbrella kept me dry. I wish I had more time to spend in the library. A truly comfortable stay in a remarkable inn. My highest recommendation for those who love the historical, local, unique, and comfortable.

We have stayed at the Inn at Glencairn on several occasions. The inn itself is beautifully preserved, offering all modern amenities without sacrificing the building's historic character. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is also a lovely downstairs common room and spacious grounds that guests are welcome to explore. The inn is conveniently located just minutes away from the center... More

We were in the Princeton area for a wedding and stayed at the inn one night. A beautiful old house parts of it dating back to the 1790's but clean and well preserved. The grounds were beautiful and landscaped with old barns , smoke houses etc. Our room was comfortable especially the bed and covers, with wifi and a big... More

My wife brought me here for an overnight before we did something else in the area. A wonderful B&B. Charming decor, lovely well appointed room, nice grounds not too far from Princeton (maybe a 10 minute drive for us with little traffic). Breakfast was very good prepare by Lydia. But what really put it over the top was the private... More

We have had the pleasure of staying at the Inn on two occasions and highly recommend it. The service and accommodations were wonderful on both occasions. The history of the home and surrounding areas is fascinating and breakfast is sure to be memorable.

In order of importance, I look for the following in a Bread and Breakfast. 1. Engaging, friendly and attentive Innkeeper 2. A great mattress 3. Comfortable appointments 4. Visually appealing surroundings. The Inn at Glencairn hits it out of the park and then some. The best part of our three days and nights was meeting Lydia Oakes, the estimable Innkeeper.... More

This inn is beautiful, perfectly clean, and full of extra surprises. The innkeeper, Lydia, is a top class chef who serves breakfasts extraordinaire with accommodations for all palates. Rooms were quiet and well appointed. Outdoor areas are inviting with endless possibilities for entertaining/ special meals, etc. The location is convenient with an easy 3 mile drive to downtown Princeton and... More

I travel to Princeton for work quite often, within the last 5 years, I have stayed at almost all decent hotels around Princeton area, I have to say my recent stay at Inn at Glencairn was definitely the best experience I ever had in Princeton. Two things impressed me the most are: Super Clean & Awesome Breakfast. Highly recommended!

Charming property with great breakfast, free cookies, coffee, tea and wine all day! Expansive property with a barn and outdoor sitting space. The innkeeper Lydia was a great chef who was warm and welcoming to our family.
