Stayed here for 2 nights. Nice spacious rooms. Grounds well kept. Breakfast very good but not much choice. Princeton university not far away within a lovely area with nice shops and places to eat. The hotel has a swimming pool and fitness area which is well used.

The Chauncey Center is different than any other place I have ever stayed. It definitely does not follow the rectangular pattern of most hotels. The hallways go up and down and around. Keep track of your room number. You might have trouble finding your room again. I tend to like this, but others may not. The floors tend to be...

While the place is very clean, it is not thoughtfully planned or run. To start, the front door is manual - when you arrive with suitcases, you expect an automatic door or someone to hold the door open for you. The room was very noisy. The staff seemed to be vacuuming the common spaces nightly at 11:30pm which could be...

I am about to go to sleep after seven hours at Chauncey. On my word of honor this is what has happened in in a mere six hours. 1. I was given a room that leaked water from the ceiling onto the carpet. When I reported this the front desk explained, "It is raining." 2. When I requested to be...

I stayed here recently for a conference. The facility is dated but spotless. The real issue I had was the noise. The walls are paper thin - something my conference mates noticed as well. The gentleman staying above me was thankfully on my same schedule. I heard every foot step (yes there was carpeting) and toilet flush. I asked to...

A two star hotel at the price of a luxury one! Price was outrageous when we had to book it, and there were no alternatives offered by the organizing team. We had to saty there for dinner and breakfast and the food in the facility was terrible. Basically fart food served on ceramic dishes. The rooms had the noisiest ever...

My husband and I flew to New Jersey from Los Angeles for a holiday week with our daughter and her family. Since they live very close to Princeton, they recommended The Chauncey which is both a convention center and hotel. We arrived at 1:00 AM on Thanksgiving day after a grueling transcontinental flight with many delays at our layover. While...

Nice grounds with a beautiful scenic vista. The staff at front desk was a mixed bag. Some were extremely helpful and some were not very friendly. Overall, a great place to spend a few hours and pleased by the experience.
