I came for the weekend and stayed in one of the loft houses and had a great time. I was really surprised at the loft house (I am super picky). Friendly environment and nice and quiet. Pool clean and many shaded areas. We went to Brigatine Beach and a dolphin cruise. Atlantic City 30 minutes away. Come and stay, you will enjoy!
Nice place to rest and relax. Very friendly and very helpful staff. The pool is beautiful and well kept. Lots of umbrellas for shade. Golf cart rentals would be nice. Easier access to lake coming soon so we will be back to see it.
Love the park and staff always welcoming there guest and members, if any one wants to getaway or just have a lovely weekend with your friends or family you need to stop by Chestnut Lake, we have been here for many years and Love It❤️❤️❤️
This place leaves a lot to be desired, beginning with all the duck poop, small pool, shuffleboard filled with duck poop, miniature golf needs to be thrown out, the main office smelled like old and stale, the bathrooms were old and just not habitable.
Each year we return to Chestnut Lake and are greeted by great surprises. Over the last few years there has been more sewer sites, new electric, pool resurfaced, old trailers cleaned up and less drunken rowdiness. Believe it or not LESS bugs!! It has turned into a great place for family vacations. We enjoy our stay there each year and look forward to our arrival.
Front desk were super nice. Every question I had was answered, everytime I needed something for the cabin they were very helpful. Everything was clean from the bathrooms to the pools. Very nice campground.
We received a Thousand Trails free membership for year when we bougt a new czmper sontjis was our second attempt to use the membership. We have camped for 10 years...mostly at state campgrounds and KOAs. We both agreed that this was the least desirable campground we stayed at in those 10 years. The positives...nice staff and nice pool. The negatives...ver poorly maintained campground, permanent sites not well maintained, close to neighbors, lovely lake terribly maintained. I read the reviews of others but we still went...we were mistaken. We left early. We wi stick to KOAs.
Had an issue with a different camp and these guys were so friendly accommodating. Were able to get me in for a 14 days day. Met the sales person discussed upgrading and I upgraded as well. Then they extended my stay. Could not ask for any better
Had a great experience camping. Encountered a lot of friendly maintenance staff! I was a little befuddled when front staff was lurking around sites with an intimidating stick enforcing what should be basic campground rules as far as camper placement. Should also mention in addition to our abrasive encounter, we witnessed several nearby campers who had been here for several nights had the same issues. In speaking with these other campers, these issues should have been communicated upon check in. I would have loved to discuss these issues with a manager but never saw one the entire time we were here. We were happy with the guidance we received from the maintenance staff and our thousand trails rep, Joanna.
People and staff were friendly. Most amenities were in good condition. Miniature golf course was not very well maintained. More 3-pt sites were added which was appreciated. Restrooms were pretty clean.
