If you set your expectations appropriately this motel is an adequate place to stay. I am sure the first floor is nice and renovated, but the renovations did not make it to the second floor. Simply pulling up the old damp rug would help and maybe some better (eco friendly) cleaning products in the bathroom. We had no option for a bath for our two young kids..it had a tub, but no bath faucet or drain to keep water (not that I would have let them sit in the tub anyway). The AC is great though and kept us cool. The location is nice and a city block away from boardwalk and I guess that’s what makes this a 3 star option. The pool is decent and nice to have, but someone should skim it throughout the day. This is def not worth $200 a night, but as a last second option it worked.

Love this motel! The newly renovated rooms are stylish and immaculate. It’s located in the heart of Point Pleasant. It’s within walking distance of the beach and boardwalk. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

The host was very rude, eventhough she was partially accomodating, she was still rude. The pool is tiny and located in front of the hotel which puts it practiacally on the road. We have not seen anyone in the pool through out our stay and didn't use it ourselves. The advertised free breakfast is just cheap coffee, cheap doughnuts and some horrible junk food. They also have bottled water which is not complimentary. This is really disappointing considering the price we paid for the room. Don't rely on it if you are a heathy eater. The room was clean, but stunck from the cleaning supplies. I give this hotel 2 stars just for the cleansiness of the room.

Our room was immaculate and the staff was accommodating. Short walk to the beach (discounted prices on beach tags, umbrellas, and chairs) and boards. Having gone to Cape May for most of my life... I will definitely return to this quaint motel. We loved it!
