King room was immaculately clean - you could smell the clean when you opened the door to the room. Poolside #24. Bathroom is spacious and also immaculate. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Mini frig was cold and AC worked quietly. Half block to the beach. Great location. Would definitely stay again.
Don’t think I would stay there again kind of expensive for what it is Pros nice pool and the place was clean but sand on the sheets Cons very small no balcony very dark the snack bar was nice at the pool but people running it do not wear masks or gloves.
Stayed at the sand pebble for a quick beach getaway with our family. I'll say I've been coming to point pleasant for years and this is not my first stay at sand pebble. Rooms were of course not anything to write home about, but this time, even with covid restrictions, there was much to be desired as much as cleaning went. There was a lipstick stain on the wall in the bathroom (probably still there) by the mirror, crumbs still in the corners of carpets. I wiped things down myself again and they definitely weren’t clean in the first place which is very scary at this time. We stayed in a mini suite. The pull out couch was horrific for my boys. Honestly, it was like sleeping on straight springs. So bad. I called the office to see if there was any way we could get some type of mattress topper or anything and the guy chris who answered acted like he didn’t know what I was even saying. It squeaked all night while they slept every little move they made, and they were restless all night it was not a great stay. We were in room 26. What I will say is that the pool was beautifully maintained, with tables and umbrellas as well as loungers, a cute snack bar that served breakfasts and lunches. Joe and Fran that run it are so nice and go out of their way to make guests smile and make sure their orders are right. I will say that I am dissapointed after all of these years staying at sand pebble. I expected cleaner rooms (especially during covid) and more comfortable pull out couch for my kids. I was hoping for perhaps an offer for another room that night or another mattress that was better, anything. It was extremely uncomfortable for them :(…
Made a reservation in early January 2019 for Sunday in September. They charged me that day already for the full cost of the room. I get a call today in which they advise me that the reservation for us in no longer valid unless we stay for 3 nights. And the cost for the other 2 nights were much higher off course. They stated their employee made a mistake. Was not the only person this happened too. Double check your reservations because having one and having ALREADY BEEN CHARGED obviously does not mean you really have a solid reservation. Won't ever recommend since reservations mean nothing. Good luck or keep calling to make sure you really do have a VALID reservation.
Had a really enjoyable staff and Point Pleasant was a great place to visit and explore the Jersey Shore. Staff were very friendly and helpful, great location just near the beach and boardwalk, clean and comfortable room. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!
