This place is absolutely horrific. They should have paid me to stay here. We were passing through and exhausted. Desperation led us here. The door to the room is not secure, the beds are hard and extremely uncomfortable, the linens and pillows stained and burned, the bathroom was filthy with terrible flickering fluorescent lighting. When we entered the room we... More

Without meaning to be pejorative, this hotel is nasty. Apparently, it used to be the Phillipsburg Inn prior to being America's Best Value Inn because the sun bleached sign still sits on top of the building (branding 101?). One has to wonder how "value" is quantified in this case at $80 per night, because, given the state of the property,... More

Wonderful place to rest your head. Clean. Very comfortable and so affordable. Traveling back from NYC and easy location to find. Didn't eat the breakfast but it smelled good. Hope they don't change anything.

It was a dark stormy night...... My plans in NYC fell through and I was heading back home to Western PA. Exhaustion finally set in, and I got off at my old stand by Phillipsburg NJ. I have stayed here before, it seemed when the place just reopened. It was always reasonably clean, quiet and comfortable enough. The late night... More

The only good thing I can say is it was warm and dry in a snow storm. The front desk people were very unfriendly and downright rude. I couldn't even get a piece of paper and a pen. The breakfast was a joke. No coffee only day old danish. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room. The ice... More

It is a budget motel, and at a great price. The fixtures were older, but in good condition. The bathroom was so clean, it almost looked new. The towels were fluffy, the sheets were in good condition. The room was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. It's not the Ritz, and not priced like the Ritz. I will stay... More

I had the misfortune to get a flat tire late at night near Phillipsburg NJ, and could not drive home on the spare. I had to stay over at this hotel, it wasn't by choice. Dumpy Phillipsburg is not known as a tourist destination. The motel itself is not so bad, but $79 is high-priced for this type of no... More

First the room was advertised to be a queen room, it was a full bed, kind of small. Continental breakfast is just a bread and a multi-use jelly jar, with some butter. Cereal just whatever they have 1 to choose of, juice in a multi-use jug and a coffee put. too much money for what you get if compare with... More

Stayed there for one night. Front desk were nice enough people but the room was not cleaned at all. Just had the beds made and fresh towels. Beds are like stone tablets and it was just toss and turn all night trying to get comfy. The place needs to be ....well honestly rebuilt. It is on it's last legs.

This is not the Ritz Carlton. It is a budget motel in an area that doesn't have enough rooms for rent, in my humble opinion. It was Tuesday, August 4 and I'd been trying to find an empty motel room for about a hundred miles. This place finally had one. The young guy who checked me in was very nice.... More
