This place is one of the oldest motels in OC but is clean and inexpensive. The people who work here are great. and very helpful. There's also a nice café attached. BUT, I think the mattresses are also from the late 1950s. They are very uncomfortable and marred an otherwise nice visit. With better mattresses, I'd rate them much higher.

Hi Kathleen, Thank you for your review! We do change our beds out regularly and we never have bad reviews on them. I'm sorry you experienced a problem with your bedding - we would have been happy to change your room if we were aware that you were uncomfortable. It also lets us know that that room needs to be... Great location(walking distance from the boardwalk/beach, great restaurants nearby), free parking and a pool. The staff is average and responsive. On the other side you get this old feel when you go in. Looks like they have not renovated in decades.

First let me start with the positive things; the location is great, a block from the boardwalk. The parking is free. There is a pool. The staff is friendly and quick to address concerns. That is where the positive ends and the negative begins. We stayed here 30 years ago and the rooms look like they have not been updated... More

John, I thank you for taking the time to review us and let us know how we are doing. I apologise that you had to experience ants in your room! The room was very small. Nothing special. The location was good, close to the board walk. The internet is intermittent. It was hard to unload the car to the room. Parking and beach passes were included.

We have been staying at the Pavillion for many years. It is close to the beach, the Boardwalk and within walking distance of downtown Ocean City. The rooms have always been clean and washers and dryers are available for use. There are microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. The Internet is somewhat slow but could be due to everyone using... We were on a tight budget and wanted a few days down the shore. First of all the refrigerator wasn't working and blamed the cleaning people. Secondly, their WiFi wasn't working in the room unless you went out on the patio, never came across this before and finally since this is a dry town, you may need to bring in... More

For 13 years I have been going to the Pavilion in OCNJ. It is the ideal location as it is steps from the boardwalk and beach. The rooms are always clean and provide both a refrigerator and complimentary wifi. The onsite restaurant offers all Pavilion guests 10% off breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are all amazing. I feel part... More

My family and I have been coming here for 6 years now and we have been consistently pleased with our vacations here. The staff always works very hard to ensure that we are happy with our accommodations. It's a quaint, clean place and the location is perfect! You can park here and literally never have to get in your car... More

I first visited Ocean City in 1957, when the family went there on vacation. We went back the next 2 years, always staying in the brand new (built in 1956) Fountainview Motel (Ocean City's FIRST motel). In planning our most recent trip, the folks at The Pavillion Motor Lodge (which the Fountainview is now a part of) bent over backwards... More
