The Tahiti inn has been family owned since 1989 and is one of the cheapest hotels in ocean city New Jersey. Staff are super kind, owners are super kind and rooms are cleaner than clean. My family and I have been going there for 17+ years and are really sad to see that they are selling. We hope to continue staying there after it sells.

When in Ocean City, NJ, you must stay at the Tahiti Inn. I have been going there for 20+ years and have never had a bad experience. Family owned and operated, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the Tahiti Is located one block from the Ocean City boardwalk.

We have been going to the Tahiti Inn for a number of years and it is a great family run business! The rooms are super clean and everything is very well maintained. The staff really wants to make your stay enjoyable and it shows! The pool is a family favorite with a nice relaxing vibe. Central location and close to everything. We park our car and don’t drive again until our stay is over. Love that you don’t have to cross any streets when you go to the beach with kids!

Our third mini vacation this year just ending at the beginning of the Labor Day holiday. For many years we have stayed with this friendly family and staff who well maintain the reasonably priced Inn at a great location in Ocean City. Full house but quiet and relaxing by the pool.

My son and I have vacationed in OCNJ countless times and his favorite place to be is at “The Tahiti”! The rooms and grounds are cleaned regularly and the pool is well maintained. If you want to soak up that Jersey Shore sun without hanging by the pool, there is a great sun deck to relax on. All staff members are exceptionally friendly and want you to enjoy your time away. Our family feels like everyone at The Tahiti is a part of our family :)

Stayed for one night while in town for a concert and was very happy with the motel and their staff. Great location near everything, very clean and quiet with a nice little pool and comfy lounge chairs. We have stayed many places in Ocean City and will definitely be returning to Tahiti Inn.

The apartment was bigger than expected and the location was awesome. The rooms was definitely clean and pool was very enjoyable especially for my grandkids. The staff was great and I definitely like the family atmosphere. Will definitely return for another stay and the price for the week was reasonable.

Location! Location! Location! This place is adorable and a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk/beach. At first look it’s a bit dated but don’t worry…it’s in a cool vintage way. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. The place was full but we never heard another guest late at night. Very quiet! AC worked very well. Parking is convenient. Pool area is cozy with generous seating. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back!

When my son and I first arrived at the Tahiti in, the parking was horrible, and barely had enough room to fit in between the pillar and our car. When we went to check in, the women at the desk started to check us in, but in the middle of checking us in, she went and checked someone else in, making us wait. Once she was done checking them in she came back to us, she gave us 2 keys with 1 key ring. When she told us how to get to our hotel room she gave us the location on the total opposite side of the hotel, which caused us to get lost. Do to us having to carry our luggage up and down the stairs my son had an asthma attack by the time we found our room. If we were not in our hotel room house keeping would not come in until they saw we were back. No one ever specified that we had to put the “house keeping need” sign on the door. The one main thing good about the hotel room was that it was very clean, and the location is very close to the boards. When we checked out the same woman that checked us in asked us how our stay was, and I responded with “just ok”. She didn’t question why our stay was just ok. I would think a good part of customer service would be to ask why it was just ok.

Hello kareng05062000, thank you for posting a review. I am upset to hear your stay was not well. I would like to speak to you directly to see who the lady was that checked you in. Our office staff does help more than one customer at a time sometimes. It could of been that the other customer had been started before you. As far as them not describing where your room was correctly, we apologize. The housekeeping issue you state confuses me as you stated it. Once again, I would like to speak to you directly to go over these issues more in detail. If you can forward your info to us or call me directly at 609-399-0130 ext.317. If you decide to try us again in the future, hopefully our staff will do a better job, but do not hesitate to ask for one of the managers if things are not right!

It’s me again. Felt compelled to write another review. My husband and I came back for a much needed R &R and the Tahiti did not disappoint. If you are looking for a clean, well kept and centrally located to beach and town this is definitely the place you want to stay. The family and it’s staff are very helpful and polite. Looking forward to our next visit.
