Usually stay in the Crest but stayed here for the lower price. Rooms and bathrooms were clean but bed needs to be replaced, we kept rolling to the middle. Great location, less than half a block to beach and a few blocks to to the beginning of the boardwalk. i know they have no control over the parking lot but man was it tight. getting in an out was a struggle for all of us. I moved the car for breakfast and just paid to park on the street because it was much easier, Diana was so sweet on the phone and in person.

Rooms are clean. The 3 grills on site are nice when cleaned, pool is cleaned daily. The only issue we had was the walls were super thin between rooms and you could hear everyone in the rooms next to you. Other than that great property and we would return. The owner is very very nice and accommodating. Gave us late check out and was able to use amenities until late afternoon. She even stored my cooler full of food and drinks in the office, after check out, so we could go to the beach. 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

As a single female traveling alone, I felt safe and secure in the room and location. The location was close to the beach and I walked to the boardwalk alone in the dark and there were no worries.
As other people noted, this motel is basic and somewhat dated in style but well-equipped. The bathroom has an older feel but was VERY CLEAN. To me, that's really what matters for a short stay.
I was delayed in getting to the motel, and the office was closed when I arrived, but the owner Diana made it easy for me to get into my room and called me to work out the arrangement for that.

I gave 2 stars because the location is great and the owners are super nice.

I didn't expect the Ritz staying in Wildwood but since this hotel had high stars and good reviews on here I booked it online for Labor Day weekend. That being said - we checked in on a Friday night to our 2 bedroom room. It was really gross. The rug throughout was wet with a smell (we were told they are near the ocean, but I've stayed near the ocean many times) with a piece of it just randomly cut out and then pieced back in. The sofa bed was stained beyond belief and when I unfolded it was rusty. So the clean sheets on it had rust marks on them. The bathroom shower knobs barely worked and the bathroom had damage to the walls and, what looked like, sand painted into the floor trim from over the years. The worst part was on the wall next to the toilet there looked to be blood on the walls. The 2 bedrooms were not real bedrooms as they must have been created at a later date and had no HVAC vents or window air conditioning. So you would need to run the air or heat very high in the main area and leave the door open to hope it would come inside. The one thing I will say is the two beds in the rooms were newer and very comfortable, but there was not a blanket on either of them - just sheets. We paid an extra $20 per night because there were 5 of us (so they knew there were 5) and yet they left two blankets in the closet and 4 bath towels. It was an uncomfortable night of sleep. The next day we got our money back and went down the street to a better hotel.

Maybe there are better rooms as there are may positive reviews on here. It was also super high per night price (I guess because it was considered 2 bedrooms) If it had been a reasonable price the condition wouldn't have been so shocking.

The owner did state that they are having a major renovation soon and it will be beautiful. I hope this is true because, as stated above, they were very nice people. But this place should be condemned. It would help their reputation if they just closed, renovated and then opened so that people weren't staying in these conditions.

I will not be staying here again. The room was dingy. I had asked for the Delux apartment and was placed in a one bedroom apartment and charged the same price as the delux. Was never told that the delux apartment air conditioner was broken and was being given another room until I questioned why I was not in the room I had requested. The parking is awful and the staff is not that nice. I pod for my parents to come down Saturday and leave Sunday afternoon. When in the pool area I was questioned as to why I did not pay for another night for them. When I advised her that they were leaving within the hour she gave me an attitude and walked away. We then left the pool area and my parents left the property to go home as they were insulted. The light and fan in the bedroom did not work at all. The shower knobs were old and barely worked. I guess what do you want for a motel. Their prices are highway robbery for the type on rooms that they have for rent.

The pool was the best part and the location in proximity to the beach. Everything else was subpar. The room was tiny and very outdated with nasty carpets. We were also next to an empty room that was having work done on it so every morning at 9 am we were awakened by hammering and saws! Forget sleeping in on vacation. Parking is a nightmare. Limited and tight. You have to be a magician to get i to the spaces without singing your car. Prices are high and they still have outdated prices posted on the doors of every room.

My sister and I booked a room for two nights at the Harbor Mist. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean, it had a fully equipped kitchenette (including a clean well working coffee maker) and the AC worked great. They also had one of the most comfortable beds I have experienced at a motel! We made use of the pool which was sparkling clean, and enjoyed coffee out on the terrace in the morning. The location is great, only a half block to the beach. I only have two small suggestions- some hooks for clothing (especially in the bathroom) and boxes of tissues in each room. It would also be convenient to have a clothesline on premises for towels and wet suits but there may not be enough space on the lot. The parking lot was very tight and I was quite glad I had a compact car! All in all we had a wonderful time and are planning on staying there again the next time we visit Wildwood. Thanks Harbor Mist!

This was our third year at Harbor Mist, and just love it here. Great location to beach and boardwalk, clean rooms and pool, nice sized rooms and friendly staff. There are never any issues during our stays and we will continue to return each year for our family vacations.

This will be our 4th year here I believe. Started coming when grandkids moved in and wanted family oriented motel. That's exactly what you get. I love this place and will not go anywhere else. Close to beach, the point, the boardwalk is a few blocks away so don't get that noise. Accommodations well worth it. i cook all our meals there only time I cook all year!!. come same week every year and Diana has never disappointed me. She is very accommodating to our needs. Rooms are always clean and spacious. This year I booked to "big" room as its the last year for my oldest grandson as hes going in Navy when he turns 18. Friends also book rooms coz its my granddaughters birthday week + we have her bday party there. She loves this place. Parking tight so I try to make sure I have all supplies so I dont have to drive out. Market around corner is awesome. has some good things. great for oops forget this... thank you Diana and staff. Looking forward to June...
