Great hotel to stay in 30 minutes trip to Manhattan by rail. Updated and clean. Good parking. Normal breakfast. Very comfortable and clean room.Friendly and professional staff. Location is a very good for Big Apple. 7 minutes walk to trainstation. And 30 minutes catch City center by the train.
First of all I would make the surveys a little bit shorter and easier to fill out. Maybe have more specific questions that will make it easier for you guys to have a better understanding of the needs of customers.Overall it was a good day though I don’t have any real issues.
They have great service and the employees here are the best and very friendly. Except this one African American man that works in the front desk he always has a bad attitude Newark New Jersey Best Western Robert Treat Hotel
after a day of flight delays, arrived late 10:30 PM. Even though it's listed as a smoke free hotel, my 6th floor room reeked. My eyes were watering, and my throat closing up from the odor. I complained and got a room on a much higher floor. It still had problems with a lingering smoke odor, but I found I could open the window, and could sleep, albeit in a cold room (it was 25 Fahrenheit outside) under covers. I stayed a week, and got used to the routine. It's a quick 10 minute walk to Rutgers, very safe. I was doing research at Dana Library, so this was incredibly convenient. There is a new Whole Foods just across the park, which is one of your best bets for good food. It's in a mini mall, and there is a wine shop there, too. The owner ended up being an old Texas alumni friend. Many people have commented on the great free breakfast. I went a couple times. It's in a makeshift room (perhaps they were remodeling) The staff person was very helpful, but the choices were meager. All in all, I got my research done, the wifi is great, it's comfortable, but not remarkable.…
First initial impression pulling up to the hotel is that it’s nice. Then once directed to the hotel parking lot around back it started to change. You need to leave your car and key with the attendant who then parks it 5 cars deep so it’s pretty much stuck there your entire stay. Once realizing we had to leave the car and key, we took almost everything out. One thing I left behind in the trunk was a North Face brand jacket that I recall throwing further to the back of the trunk before shutting it and leaving the car with the attendants. Getting home after my trip and leaving my car with hotel staff I noticed my jacket was gone. I have been trying to contact the hotel manager now for weeks via phone and email and have yet to get a response to address the issue. Very unprofessional. In addition to my missing item, the room itself was hot. You couldn’t change the temperature setting it just constantly blew hot air even when you lowered it to air conditioning. Also in the morning housekeeping woke us up before 8 am where we went to the door greeted them and put the do not desturb sign on the door. Not even an hour later they were back with no knock just used their keycard to open the door. Luckily we had the door bulted so they couldn’t enter. Overall not a great experience and since my stay my view of the hotel has decreased even more due to lack of customer service.…
