Due to the northeaster headed up the New England coast march12-15 , my traveling partner and I decided to drive to Newark 2 days early to make sure we could get out of Newark for our 9 day vacation in puerto plata DR, We choose this courtyard because I have stayed at many and they have always been comfortable and...

We stayed at this hotel when we went to see BTS at the Prudential Centre so the location was great we made use of the walkway that connects the hotel to the Prudential Centre via the parking lot. Staff was very helpful. Shout ou to Bryan who helped us find our way around. The area is a bit sketchy but...

Nice hotel but I can't recommend this hotel because of the neighborhood. Although once inside one could easily forget that this hotel is very close to criminal activity. The staff from top to bottom was very good and the rooms are nice size, less a safe inside the room s. Pleasant two day stay, we had relocated there due to flight...

First the staff were absolutely wonderful. The room was large with a very large shower. water was always hot which was great. The hotel all by itself I would give 4-stars all day. I have written a review on the Hotels survey and have already received a reply. The email was from the hotel Manager. They were kind and professional...

If you need to be in downtown Newark, this is a good spot. The rooms are typical Courtyard-clean and comfy. What sets this one apart is the hospitality of the staff members, from checkin to Bistro to shuttle drivers. I felt valued as a guest and well taken care of. Penn station Newark is a short distance away, so on...

Let's cut to the chase: Newark doesn't feel like a particularly safe place to spend your time. So, although our five-block walk from Penn Station to this hotel was a little hair-raising, the Courtyard felt safe enough, was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and it was right around the corner from the Prudential Center (we were there to...

It's a Courtyard. Most of what you'd expect is there. Nice staff, above average rooms, etc. But, it's on the edge of downtown Newark, just behind the Prudential Center - if you're in town for an event at the Prudential Center, it's a good choice. If you're going elsewhere, not so much. And, the garage entrance is disqualifyingly bad. First,...

Stayed here for one night in January. Hotel offers free EWR airport shuttle. Also shuttle to Newark Penn Station. Hotel is clean and everything you'd expect from a Courtyard property. Hotel is pretty much connected to the Prudential Center. Would stay here again if I were attending an event.

Stayed here after an Andrea Bocelli concert. Perfect logistics. You will not have to walk the shady streets of Newark to get to the Prudential Center if you stay here. Park in the hotel's garage, eat dinner at the hotel cafe and use the catwalk that connects the hotel directly to the Prudential Center. The hotel was clean and comfortable....
