I selected this hotel based on its proximity to my destination. It's located just off Route 73 and is only a few miles from Interstate 295, making it easily accessible - or at least as easily accessible by New Jersey standards. I made my reservation online, and accidentally booked the wrong day. Fortunately, the staff was easily able to change my reservation when I called, despite it being a short notice request. They were also very pleasant when I checked in. The building is set back from the main road a little, and has a large parking lot. The room was the standard hotel room. The hotel also offers free breakfast, which was above average, and included fresh, warm cinnamon rolls.

When I checked in I had to switch rooms because of A.C. issues. 2ncd room was like I was camping outdoors. Big stain on the carpet I was told was cranberry juice. I ruined a piece of clothing due to the iron, very dirty. Some short of stain on the wall. I told the staff and was told the housekeeper would be spoken too. I went out and came back to a pair of dirty socks left for me that were not mine. The toilet has not been cleaned in I dont know how long. I had to clean it all, the guest. When i showed the GM- Joe, i asked if he would have stayed there and he said "I would have left". Unfortunately I dont have that kind of money since this was a prepaid trip of 5 nights. He said sarcasticly wow, all that to one visit. Like I was lying. I'll show the pictures. Don't even try and make a comeback on your "manager responce" and admit these are all your shortcomings. I would like to see your boss do a surprise visit, thats my suggestion. Then I believe the job you said yes too would get done. Please please people, stay somewhere else, this is not a tyicall HI, so many hotel on the same street. This place is not worth it.

My spouse and I spent one night at the Mt. Laurel Holiday Inn Express. We had a function to attend in Philadelphia and did not want to pay the prices they charge in the city; especially when you have to add in parking. Positives: Friendly and helpful staff. Zero complaints. Fairly easy access to Philidelphia. It took us less than a half hour to get where we needed to be. Not so Positive: Nosiy air conditioner. Low water presssure from the shower. Room felt a bit rundown. We were on a first room floor and could hear the people walking around above us. Final Thoughts: While I wouldn't rule out staying at this hotel again, if I found a better price at any of the other hotels that are basically next door, I would probably try them first. This one is just a bit too worn down compared to the newer ones which are their neighbors.

Hello CCK3510, We are truly pleased to hear that your stay was enjoyable, comfortable and that our team was able to demonstrate true hospitality at its finest. We are all about giving exceptional service to our guests and are committed to comfort in every way. I'm sorry there were a couple of issues you encountered that spoiled your stay. I know how letdown you must have felt towards the noisy air conditioning, low water pressure and noise from people walking above your room. I have conveyed your comments to the Hotel management and Maintenance team for checking. I am confident that the necessary steps will be made, to make improvements. Our Holiday Inn Express brand is currently undergoing refurbishments and I am sure our hotel will be in the pipeline soon. Thank you for staying at our Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia - Mt. Laurel and hope to have you back again. Warm thoughts, Deborah R. Case Manager IHGService

This is a below average HIE, especially given the room rate. Front desk staff is friendly and breakfast food was fine. But overall feel of interior is dingy and the lighting is very poor (making it seem even worse). The rug in my room was damp for my three day stay, which is gross. Linens ok but mattress was uncomfortable. Bathroom clean but just ok. I did not use any of the other amenities. I expect more from this brand.

Good day, 511daniels, Thank you for sharing your experience at the Holiday Inn Express And Suites Philadelphia - Mt. Laurel. We value your feedback as they help us identify areas that needs additional attention. I am glad our staff made you felt the warmth of our true hospitality. It's great to know you're pleased with the breakfast options, linens, and our clean bathroom. I regret to learn how you felt uneasy about the hotel's interior. I also regard your discomfort about the rug and mattress in your room. We keep it simple and smart, but this is not the kind of experience we want for any of our guests to have. I am sorry you to fall short on your expectations. I have discussed the situation with hotel management, who responded with genuine concern for the impact this had on your stay. I hope we get another chance to host your next visit to prove our commitment to delivering the quality of our brand standards at its best. Warmly, Jeraldine R. Case Manager IHGService
