I booked this hotel while on a moto tour of the Pyrenees, it ticked all the boxes. It had character, was in a very quiet area but an easy walk to centre ville restaurants, comfortable and clean. What made it especially enjoyable was Alain the manager (and owner I think). He was very friendly and helpful, even offering his private garage to store our two motos overnight. He gave us an interesting insight into the history of this fine old town. Alain also looked after us very well for breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay again, very good value, just don't expect a luxury hotel and you will like it too. Made a great change from the usual Ibis style chains.

This place isn't terrible. I actually liked the (rather loud) sound of the nearby brook. But it's not the cleanest hotel. Also, I made the mistake of booking through booking.com (No commission! Really????) and it turned out that this hotel charged me a much higher rate than the legal rate posted inside the door...so that I, rather than the hotel, would pay booking.com's commission. And there's no extra roll of toilet paper, so when you run out, you've got to wait until the next day. Wifi not very good.

Hotel is a previous mansion. The rooms have modern toilet facilities; the hotel interior has been restored to what perhaps was the original style. The hotel has a lovely well-kept parkway leading to the entrance, and is surrounded by gardens. The hotel is a short walking distance from the main street with many restaurants.

I stayed here for 2 nights with 2 friends whilst cycling in the Pyrenees. The place is old and very beautiful. Polished wooden floors may be a little noisy but very fine looking. The shower was excellent, very powerful. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was a bit of a let down - just some bread and pastries, coffee and juice. Not a huge amount for a tough days cycling. We preferred the buffet style in other places we stayed.

This is a very sweet B&B, converted from an old manor house and beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and lots of light. It’s set well back from the road, so there’s no noise; the only sound you hear at night is a pleasant stream right at the back of the hotel. The proprietors are lovely people—extremely helpful, friendly, and cheerful. Luchon is an excellent place to locate if you like hiking, skiing, mountain scenery, or thermal baths. There are good restaurants, cafés, shops, charcuteries, etc. just 5 min away from the hotel. Breakfast is just croissant, bread, and coffee (8€), but all were good. This was one of our very best stays during our 5 week trip to Spain and France. We absolutely loved it here, and will come back if we can!
