A dear friend passed away and we were looking for a comfortable and nurturing place to stay nearby, as we came to the area for her Memorial. We discovered this treasure of a home away from home. The house is historically decorated, made comfortable both inside and out. We loved sitting out on the back porch and watching the horses in the paddocks behind the property. Our bedding was fresh and made for a very sweet night's sleep. We woke early and walked along the property and then enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Iris and Rafi make you feel right at home with their warmth and hospitality. Thank YOU!
night away from home! Iris and Rafi were very welcoming. The Long Valley area is so beautiful. Iris was helpful informing us of areas of interest and places to dine. Will definitely go back and stay longer next time! Oh, the baked goods at breakfast were so yummy!
We had a great night here on our travels followed by a breakfast to die for!!! We would stay again in a heart beat and we hope to come again. Thank you heaps for the local hints on dining options and things to do and of course the great welcome.
We recently attended a wedding in Long Valley, New Jersey. We decided to stay two nights at the Neighbour House because of its proximity to the location of the wedding. Our experience at Neighbor House was outstanding. The historical/architectural/decorative charm of the house has been preserved, while at the same time, the bathrooms have been updated so that guests are comfortable and have all the amenities. Our accommodations were immaculate and the breakfasts were homemade, generous, and delicious. The grounds were lovely with hammock, porch, and flowers, and our hosts very welcome and anxious to accommodate any requests. In addition, the cost was very reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend Neighbor House if you are seeking accommodations in Long Valley.
We were 2 couples staying at the Neighbor House for one weeknight on August 7. We were happy to discover that the rooms were very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed the country-style breakfast and had an excellent lunch in a beer brewery/restaurant located about a mile away. The Kadosh's were wonderful hosts and received us with warmth and lots of helpful advice about things to do in the area. They were also very fair, as an error had been made with one of our reservations and they bent over backwards to rectify the matter and to compensate us for the inconvenience. This is precisely the kind of flexible and personalized care one hopes to receive from the proprietors of a B & B. Above and away, the highlight of our stay there was sitting outside the house on the rear side after breakfast and taking in the beautiful, pastoral country scenery. It was breathtaking and extremely relaxing. We'll certainly return to the Neighbor House when we get the chance. …
