Having had to cancel our annual Sept/Oct trip to Italy because of the pandemic, we decided to make a quick visit to Lambertville and New Hope just to get away. Two nights at the Lamberville House did the trick. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and provided great sleep for two nights. The fireplace was a lovely touch, The bathroom was also large with a jacuzzi tub large enough for two. We had the Monday Night "Pot Luck" $25 pp Three Course Prix Fixe Dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity of the offerings. We sat in the courtyard next to the koi pond on a lovely autumn evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Both the hotel and wait staffs were friendly, pleasant and helpful. We would def stay there again.

We were here for a family funeral. The property and rooms are very nice. The staff is honestly what sets this hotel above all others in the area. From the valet, front desk, and the restaurant team they understand what it means to be a hospitality professional. Thank your a memorable stay.

Well I DO understand we still have a pandemic but I was disappointed that , at the price of the room, we couldn't see any of this historic house or have access to the courtyard to sit and relax- without standing in the hot sun begging for a table! I thought , as a guest ( again, paying those prices), we were told NO when I asked to sit out back at 9:00pm - they were closing the kitchen ANYWAY! Hey I get it's a long day and you're tired, but I wasn't asking you to serve me- I just wanted to relax before going to bed. We actually did eat there- for breakfast and dinner- had to ask for utensils TWICE both times we were there. They need to fix some kinks for sure! Room was nice- could've used two comfy chairs, since we had to hang there!

I stayed in a Queen Suite with Balcony for a couple of nights recently and it's an elegant old building with a sense of history. Staff was polite and accommodating. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The balcony overlooking Lambertville's street scene was large and a great space for enjoying my evening cocktails. There was a $90 charge on my final bill from the restaurant that did not belong there... someone had forged my name on an order of champagne and prosciutto, an excellent choice but alas not mine. If I hadn't gone over my bill carefully after coming home I'd have missed it. The manager did remove the charge without a fuss. So... just look out for that sort of shenanigans.
