Honestly, we were concerned about staying here but once we arrived with our big 40 foot and full size truck tow we were happy. Liberty Harbor was perfect. We took the Harbor Ferry across when we visited Battery Park, Freedom Tower and Ground Zero passing Ellis Island. Great connection if you plan to visit the Statue of Liberty. Surf City...

Great campgrounds and RV site. If you got a big bus and push-outs it may be a little crowded with your neighbor. In any case, it was doable for everyone as far as I could see. Other than that...fantastic! Security guards very helpful and friendly. Same with check-in staff. Dominka handled my 8 day stay to my complete satisfaction. Internet...

As others have mentioned, it's the location that is the draw. We liked the fact that we could check in anytime. Since we were driving over from the Boston area after work, we didn't arrive until around 1:30am and I was very happy to have overnight security staff available to ease the check in to our space. We stayed three...

Best location for the RV and tent traveler. Who would have thought an RV campground at the southern tip of Jersey City, New Jersey. Marinas on 3 sides and a new building coming up to the north. You can see Lady Liberty to the south. 3 ferries to choose from to get over to NYC. This is a Quiet area,...

So, yes, this is a Parking lot with amenities. But it's all about the Location. We travel in a Motorcoach and pull a large Cargo trailer, but slow wins the race. It's a city and just be patient to get there. Easy Water Taxi Access to anything you want to see or do. We suggest that you don't ask at the...

This is the ONLY RV park in the entire Manhattan area, so it is really a monopoly. I have only used it several times for its dumping facilities. Basically, it is a large parking lot next to a large marina in a part of Jersey City far from anything. However, it is run by friendly people and seems to have...

This place was exactly what we needed - a place to sleep, a place to have some breakfast before being on our way into the city. Having read the prior reviews, we knew what to expect. This is not a park - it is a place to park. Being self-contained we had no issues with whether the bathrooms or showers...

Edit Stayed: 09/30/16 to 10/02/16 “Convenient” It's a convenient location to visit NYC, although the drive there is a bit hectic. It's pretty cramped, but everyone is happy to get a spot. When you check in you get a nice packet of information including maps and subway & ferry routes. We bought a metro card so we could come and...

Let's start with the pros : -the location. You cannot get any closer with a RV or a tent from NYC, so this is great to be only 15 min away with a ferry from Manhattan. That's it for the pros! Let's now list the con's : -Dirty and outdated bathrooms. I took some pics so you can check them...

As others have stated, this is a parking lot, not a campground. As long as your purpose is to have a place to park while visiting New York, it's perfect. Attendant was very helpful and friendly. They provide water, electric, a dump station, washers, dryers and showers. The ferry to NYC us within walking distance.
