I stayed in room 1012 and was very satisfied.The room was clean and large and was very comfortable.Nicole at the front desk provided excellent customer service.The restaurant had a breakfast buffet that I checked out and looked good. I couldn’t eat there due to I had to get going but I would definitely recommend this hotel.Right next to metro park train station.

Room was pretty gross. Shower had lots of mold and rust. Stains on ceiling. Stains on chair in room. No fridge in room. No hairdryer. Mattress old and lumpy. Smells funny. Toilet broken. Drawers in room broken. Basically nothing you want in a hotel.

Our room safe, bathroom door and the ice machine on our floor were all broken! Carpet was old and stained and the desk top was dirty. Our room had no phone (probably on purpose so we can't call the desk to complain) or clock. The pillows were way too soft so I asked 2 members of housekeeping for an extra and was totally ignored! The food at Bogarts was good but overpriced. The pool was nice and heated but there were no towels! Do not recommend.

This is my first time staying at this particular property, and I can tell that it was at one time (probably when it was a Hilton property) a very nice place to stay. That has changed! At first glance, this hotel appears to be a very nice (international) hotel. The building looks nice and the lobby is very glamorous. In addition, the rooms (at least the one I stayed in) was very large for a regular room and the bed was comfortable. That's where the kudos end and problems begin. The hallways reek (strongly) of Marijuana. Even though it is against policy (and probably state law) to smoke in the Hotel, some guests get around this by smoking weed in the hallways, or as I witnessed, sneak over to the stairwell and smoke there. Next issue. Guests are also smoking cigarettes in their rooms. How do they get around the restrictions? They go into their bathrooms and blow the smoke into the bathroom exhaust vent. This then drifts into the vents of other rooms. As I reported to the front desk, I came back to my room several nights to find it reeked strongly of cigarette smoke (I quit 35 years ago!). The smoke was drifting out of the vent in my bathroom, and into my room. Next issue. When I checked in, I was given tickets to the "breakfast buffet". The next morning I called the front desk to ask when breakfast was served, just to be told that the Hotel wasn't serving breakfast that morning (Monday). This game was replayed each day, as I came downstairs to find that the restaurant wasn't open. There is a Starbucks in the Hotel that serves coffee COLD breakfast sandwiches that you can purchase. I tried one day, but it was awful! Next issue. Hotel staff is not friendly, nor are they in sync on what is going on in the Hotel. I received different answers from each employee I spoke to, and in some cases, they had no idea how to answer when I asked them a question. Last issue. This is (was) clearly a BUSINESS hotel, and possibly an occasional vacationer. Now, there are families that are living in the Hotel (the school bus picks them up in front of the Hotel each day). I am not judging or criticizing in anyway these families, but when I walked downstairs each day (see my breakfast comments above) I found the Lobby full of children, with their backpacks, sleeping on the sofas and chairs. Again, not judging, but this seemed way out of place for what I thought was a BUSINESS traveler hotel. I suspect Hotel mgmt. has cut a deal with some agency to house these families, as a result of lack of customers stemming from COVID-19. Needless to say, I don't ever plan to stay at this property, at least not until it returns to its previous state.

We attended an evening wedding nearby so our anniversary was the next day thought I'd surprise my wife since we didn't vacation anywhere. I made reservations online but physically went maybe the day or two before our stay to try to request an early check-in and possibly something romantic, the host was no help, short and shallow with responses. Ok no biggie ill call as suggested Sunday and request early check-in maybe come out to hotel early set the mood, was again snobbly told I wouldn't be able to check-in until after 3p but regular check-in is 3p. So off to wedding, come to hotel around 9-10p get checked in fair customer service get to the dreaded 9th floor (as seen by other reviews) and soon as I open door cigarette smoke, stale air, unfresh feel so we don't unpack, I head to front desk to request move and to report smell. Initially front desk worker was only going to note the issues wasn't til I mentioned the no phone in room did she consider moving us, now could be me but she was hesitant as the only room w king was on 7th fl. So much for quiet zone, anywho next morning I look on their website and see they have a Cafe serving breakfast ok cool breakfast in bed. It had hrs 7-11am listed 7 days a week. Go down and this non chalant and seemed bothered employee of Starbucks says " ain't no other Cafe " I go to front desk and bother it seems the on duty now and get the sarcastic " we have a Cafe, but it's only open on weekends " so kindly direct her to their website after mentioning I thought it was 7days " who told u that" your website.....we took another short nap and left best thing...12p check out. Would have to be desperate to roll the dice again.

This is a reproduction of a review I had written on google reviews. I am pasting the same here with the intention of saving other potential families from wasting their hard earned money. So here we go : - Worst ever Hotel I have ever stayed in. I had booked a room with 2 queens and opted for the best they had on Orbitz. For the price I had expected a nice, clean and pleasant room. Let me itemize my experience here: 1. The front desk representative was wayyy too rude, talked to me as if I am inconveniencing him, I had arrived at 1:00 PM, first he said the rooms are not ready and would not be for next 1 hour and said he can give a king instead. I would be staying with my wife and 2 little kids and I had mentioned that during my reservation, this was already prepaid for with all the details and yet he gave me downgrade for a room that was $200+ per night. 2. He then proceeded to ask how little my kids were and said he has to give a room that would not be in a quite zone(this was fair and I did not argue). 3. But then comes the highlight, the floor was the ninth floor and in the corridor stench was awful, smelt like weed and stale cigarettes. 4. Then comes the room itself, the beds were made in a hurry, the bathroom was small and the commode was cracked. The bathtub had not been cleaned properly and had stickers in it. 5. The room itself felt stuffy and dirty overall. 6. Now the parking lot was filled with litter and trash and they did not think it was right on their part to have that reasonably clean. I decided not to stay here and let the rude front desk receptionist know that I am checking out since I do not feel the room is up to the mark, like before he did not care and said go ahead, you are not getting a refund anyway. He can give another room if I wanted but his attitude and the overall presentation of one room was enough reason for me to leave without the refund. So This review is not something made up by someone who did not pay for the room. Not sure how this place got the 4 stars it did, makes me doubt if those reviews were written by genuine customers or not. The reviews that gave them lower stars seems genuine since their experience coincided with mine. A request to other reviewers, please do not misguide others by giving false reviews and misguide genuine customers like me who then get scammed out of their hard-earned money. I have been in Comfort Inns/suites, Hiltons, Holdiay Inn Express which were far far better than this dump. And yes No free breakfast as someone else had mentioned before. For the kind of money they charge, very highly unprofessional staff, poor service and horrible place overall. Please Please save your money and use it in a name that you are familiar with than a place like this. Even with this review, with the kind of staff they have here, I do not expect a response from anyone in a position of responsibility to even contact me. I have been very generous with the 1 Star review, since that is the least it would allow me to provide.

Awful, dirty place. I wish it would be possible to leave the smell on reviews too. Room Smelled even worse than their food. Large cockroaches 🪳 on 9th floor! They already made their way up there! Wallpapers coming off and they are all wet. Mold on seiling

We have stayed here several times either as an alternative to NYC or to brak up a trip to upstate NY. Although older, location extremely convenient, room were nicely renovated. I must be honest, the hotel is owned by a Japanese Company and the rooms feature tripped out Toto toilets with heated seats! We checked in last night and were greeting with the overwhelming smell of pot in the lobby and by the elevators. It amazes me, cigarette smoking is not allowed but this is???? Looking down from our room on the 10th floor, there were about two dozen cars in the parking lot. Most of the night, we were jolted awake by slamming doors that shook the room and then the unpleasant smell of pot! Our room looked like it had been in a brawl. Broken drawer and cabinet panels hanging off, This room should not be given out when clearly there are other rooms available. We checked in at 9:08 and the restaurant closed at 9. They would not allow us to get a glass of wine. We were told by the front desk personnto download an app called drizzle and order cocktail for delivery. We left at 7:45am, the Starbucks was not open. Somehow they charge $50 for incidentals at check in, for what, I do not know..

The conditions hasn’t changed... and to be told that we had to move to another room after our first night because they were giving our room to “special guest” is insulting! And to be listed as a 4 star???? No working ice machines, poor maintenance fixes, trash everywhere outside, dishes left in the corridors all weekend, lady workers coming in and out, long check in process, tasteless food, rooms are just filthy, unable to keep my baby’s milk cold because the refrigerator didn’t work in the second room that we were given because the “special guest” needed our original room and we were unable to change the temp in the room... COVID is the least of your concerns at APA!!!

I stay at the APA hotel at least once every month. It's easy accessible to the mall, restaurants, etc. which is a plus. Before I talk about the room, I must talk about the front desk service which is absolutely wonderful. I am always greeted by Barbara, who is courteous and very sweet. I recently had an issue with my booking information through a third party site, and Barbara helped resolve my issue which definitely had me stressed out. Now the room... There is an actual bidet in the bathroom! You read correctly- a bidet! The bathroom (which is my favorite room) was spotless and the room overall was clean and comfortable. Its also great that they provide a fridge. I really enjoy staying at this hotel and I suggest everyone nearby or traveling to visit. Trust me, you wont be disappointed! Ashlee
