Mill Room 5 is fantastic with a living room just outside the door. This is great in the off season when you will likely have the additional space to yourself. We brought in dinner and wine, and enjoyed our meal in "our" living room. Very comfortable and romantic. Especially when this happened . . . . Being September, it was... More

Stayed 2 nights as part of a wedding. The room was big with an old TV. Wifi didn't work in the room and barely worked in the main house. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great but the towels were soft and fluffy. The window A/C did not keep the room very cool, and it wasn't as hot as... More

Very romantic especially in the winter when the big fireplace is blazing. And the sound of the water and all the antiques -- cuddly and nice. The food is generally "American" -- chicken pot pie, that sort of thing. The service has always been very pleasant and nice, but we haven't always been very happy with the food. Good cleanliness,... A unique facility in mid-New Jersey. Great facility for small or large parties. Food quality and service was excellent. Rooms were period on the outside and modern interior. There was a major wedding held there Saturday night. They can handle most any function that you come up with and not in a big downtown setting, either.

The restaurant is lovely but we are going to have to try again when it isn't a holiday. The service was superb but the food was only mediocre. We were there for the first seating and they ran out of some desserts including chocolate cake (which all seemed to be store bought) and brough out donuts - not homemade either.... More

Stayed for two nights to attend a friend's wedding which was held on the property. The Inn was such a disappointment. We spent $368 for two nights at a really third rate location. Inside the room was a television from the early 1990's, slow Wi-Fi, a telephone from the 1980's, mediocre toiletries and a very bare bones room. Really overpriced... More

Stopped here for lunch after hitting a few local wineries. Beautiful interior with the mill race still flowing through. Giant fireplace to stay warm. All the food was excellent. Very relaxed atmosphere.

I brought a client there for lunch in early December, 2015. We chose to eat in the lower tavern area. Wonderful stonework and huge fireplace. I had the Rachel (pastrami Rueben). It would have been really good, but, they didn't toast the rye bread on the sandwich. They just put burn marks on it with a Panini machine. Every bite... More

I was looking for a very special place to spend Thanksgiving on our way to visit our daughter in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The Inn At Millrace Pond seemed just perfect, just off the highway. Our room was clean, quaint, and beautiful! We eagerly anticipated our Thanksgiving dinner downstairs in the historic building, and the dining area was so beautiful.... More

Where Do we start! first and foremost by saying our day was simply amazing:-) The weather in Hope New Jersey was a gorgeous seventy five degrees and at night it was a delightful sixty four degrees. Our wedding was held on September 20th of 2015 at the Inn at Millrace Pond where the backdrops of the location are exquisite. The... More
