Recently a family member stayed here while in town. The hotel is two story, and very clean and quiet. Its seems to be family owned and they take pride in keeping it nice. If you need a place for a night, this would be good. I did see a pool outside but it was covered since it was fall.

I stayed for one night for work related reasons. The room smelled of smoke. Cigarette burns in the carpet. There was liquor in the mini fridge left from the last guest. The bathroom mat had a glob of hair on it when I placed it on the floor. The bedding was very old and ragged. It was 100$ for one...

This place needs to be shut down immediately for its endangerment to human health. My pillow cases were covered in blotches that looked like dried blood, and my shower towel was stained with black marks that looked like a woman's eye make-up. The shower floor had a layer of visible brown dirt, and the entire room reeked like cigarette smoke...

I had a houseful of guests and decided to get a room for my brother and family for 5 nights. The beds had stained sheets (yuk) and NO coffee pot! Costs $610.40, receipt a small piece of paper without any itemizing. Upon checkout and requesting a normal motel receipt, was told no. COMFORT INN offers much more for the value....

I tried to find a last minute room late at night and found the clerk to be so nasty that left immediately. I could hear the clerk screaming so loud through the glass door as I walked away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Stayed here while I was working. Conveniently only a few miles from oyster creek. Weekly rates, rooms were cleaned daily, flat screen tv, pool. Only downside is no laundry on site. Have to use the laundromat two miles north

The location was good for our local get together. Rooms were better than expected. After reading the firsr two reviews I was not shure what to expect. Desk staff was knowledgeable and pleasent. Went above and beyond to satisfy my request for first floor room. Room was clean and well appointed. Plenty of hot water and good flow in shower....

Very expensive for an old motel. It appeared reasonably clean at first glance but then I noticed the carpeting was filthy (dirty and not vacuumed) and when I moved the table a bit there was a pile of dust under the legs. The wireless kept disconnecting (poor signal), if you "need" internet from your room this isn't the place to...

Bay Harbour Motor Lodge on Route 9 in Forked River Jersey is awful!!!! The place is old, dismal and overpriced. The management staff is rude and accomodating. When you're in the hospitality business, you're supposed to be kind to your guests. NEVER AGAIN!
