Even though made reservations well in advance our rooms where not together. Prior to arrival I called to ask room service hours and was told until midnight we arrived at 10:15 to find that was wrong and it closed at 10pm. Extremely tired disappointed and hungry. So this begins the series of issues. Arrived for breakfast at 9:40 Waiter takes your drink order doesn’t return until 10 after 10 and says sorry breakfast is closed…. Now this is becoming almost humorous…. Made reservations many weeks in advance requested our rooms be together and we arrive in the rooms are not together with our 13 year old on the other side of the hotel. Even though while traveling we called four hours in advance on the road to confirm our rooms and reservations We were told everything is good they’re looking forward to seeing us when we get there rooms aren’t together we asked if they can put them together the answer is no. It was puzzling given the fact the hotel is 180 rooms capacity and only 65 cars were in the parking lot the front and manager Mark. Poor Mark - Mr No 😂indicated that may be true but the reason they can not accommodate us is because none of the rooms are clean. Causing me to wonder why didn’t they clean them when I clearly called 4 to 5 hours in advance to ensure everything would be proper knowing we’d be arriving late. We had on girl on the front end Britnay - that did truly try to accommodate us and turn things around - she was appreciated but in so many other circumstances we found d the place slightly below average. I’ve traveled the world extensively for 25 years and I must say I will never forget the Archer. It was like a Seinfeld episode. I’m guessing they where just understaffed due to COVID.

While my trip to Madison NJ was for a sad occasion, I was relieved to have been referred to the Archer Hotel. I've been in the hospitality business for over thirty years and would confidently recommend this property to any and all who need to be in or around Florham. Mark at the desk and Linnell at the restaurant were just two standouts, but everyone was very accommodating!

My family and I had an excellent overall experience at the Archer. My daughter was getting married and used the pre-services of the Archer for reserving a block of rooms for the out-of-town wedding guests and for even local friends and relatives to spend nights there before, during and after the event. The coordination of the reservation department was seamless, super convenient and very efficient. We cannot thank the Archer and all their friendly staff for all services provided. Best place ever, especially at such a special time for our family. Sincerely, Lisa Shaw (in regards to the Shaw/Gorman wedding of July 9, 2021.
