After reading the good reviews I was looking forward to staying here. The sites are tiny!! And driving through the campground with a 33' travel trailer was like threading a needle. The roads are barely big enough for one truck with trees scraping the camper the whole way. And the signage in the roads was few and far between...it's like...

Almost every spring I stay with friends at the Avalon Campground to catch the spring bass run. The staff is friendly, the grounds are clean, and the cabins are plain and simple! A fisherman's paradise... Very close to Avalon, and Sea Isle. I would recommend this campsite to anyone!

So we chose the campground based on proximity to Avalon and Stone Harbor, reviews on TA and FB and from friends. We were only there to have a place to park the RV, eat and rest. Our spot was extremely difficult to get in to based on the way other campers parked their cars haphazardly around their sites. We were...

I've been going there for over 25 years. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Bathhouses are very well placed and cleaned once or twice a day. 10 minutes drive from the beach. Campsites are usually very well sized for a family of 4. There is a paid wifi that you can enjoy from your campsite and a free wifi at...

The family is very hand on. We needed some help pulling into our site because someone was blocking our site. They told the owner of the vehicle to move and even helped direct us into our site and showed us where are hook ups were. Even put an extenion on the sewer pipe for us. Like I said hands on!...

We first came here in 2014 and came back in '15. The sites are very well maintained, even the fire rings are vacuumed out after someone leaves. Nice bath houses, one even has 2 outdoor showers. The sites vary in size, but most are large. We have checked out several other campgrounds in the area, and none come close to...

We spent a long 4th of July weekend at Avalon Campground. Rented a 2 room cabin and also had a pop up camper on a site. The cabin had a mini-fridge that came in very handy. We found the management very responsive to two concerns we had. One was the neighboring campers dogs running loose the other the next cabins...

My family has been camping here for over 25 years. First in tents, then a pop-up trailer, then a travel trailer, then finally a park model. We've been weekenders, we vacationed there for a week at a time and we were seasonals for over 20 some years. With our move to North Carilina, we recenly sold our site and have...
