Not a family camping experience anymore.. Loud dirty! Complained to owners all weekend said there was nothing they could do.. Music from 6 sites over until 4am.. Speeding thru campground endangering children and pets.. Safer in the city.. Absolutely horrible

Nice place for whom doesn’t like to take shower. Should works using quarters but the shower doesn’t work. Be ready to lost a lot of quarters... Do not recommend at all, try another place that provides a bathroom into your cabin or even a public shower that allow you minimally a good shower...

This is our second time coming to Avalon Campground. We bring our family of 4 and our dog in our travel trailer. The sites are adequate and shaded!! The seasonal neighbors are very friendly and so is the staff!! Grounds are clean and well maintained. Pool was crystal clear (even though no one can swim yet:( We extended our trip another 5 days and they were very accommodating! We got one night free and didn't have to change sites. Very close to Avalon and Sea Isle. There is also an Acme that is very close and convenient. Everything you need is there and just a short ride to the beach! There is also a beautiful garden center next door with koi ponds and the CUTEST shopping village next to that!! Don't forget to visit Chocolate Face for the most amazing cupcakes and brownies!! :) You will not be disappointed when you stay at Avalon Campground!

We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights. It was very clean and nice. The cabins have air conditioning, small fridge, electricity, ceiling fan, 2 plastic chairs, picnics table, fire ring, charcoal grill, cooler, and ours had 5 beds. It was very nice and would stay again if in the area. Bathrooms are very clean for a camp ground. FYI the showers take quarters.... $.25 for 5 mins. They have 2 basic pools and they were fine too besides being kinda warm... but they can’t control the temp outside and I assume it’s a non heated pool. Overall it was nice and comfortable.

We had a great experience. We stayed three nights during their Christmas in July celebration. They really went all out complete with sledding, Christmas songs by the pool and snowball fights. Unfortunately it was during a heat wave UGH so both pools were full with everyone trying to cool off. Avalon Beach is an easy 20 minutes away and a very clean beach with a small boardwalk but great playground. The only improvement that could be made is that the showers(that are very clean) have an extra curtain to keep your dry clothes dry. Otherwise we had a great stay and everyone was more than helpful and very nice.
