Great location for going to Philadelphia. OK, no hot breakfast now. However, room was clean and staff was very good. Many places to eat close by. There wasn't any problem traveling to Philadelphia from here.
This is one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are perfectly sized. The location is close enough to Philadelphia to be there in just minutes, but also close to any major highway for travel within New Jersey.
Stopped here for a few nights when visiting family. Room clean, basics w microwave and fridge. Large shower. Could have used an extra blanket from the closet but there wasn’t one. The continental breakfast was full of variety. Coffee lovers beware. Neither the coffee in the room or the breakfast nook were anything to write home about.
I located this hotel, as a second attempt to stay close to Philadelphia, and see family. The first attempt ran into issues later resolved after the stay dates. However, i was extremely surprised by the better accessibility to this property, and the very sincere staff. Desiree mainly assisted me with my accommodations and resource advice. Luis also added some additional point regarding travel stays and local merchants. The room was clean and updated. The shower door was a bit off plumb and water did leak out of the bottom corner, (Room 128). The breakfast area is very clean, with a fair assortment of items to satisfy guests. Provisions were neatly arranged and fresh/ The coffee area is truly available 24 hours. Fellow guests were congenial on my encounter. I liked having the baggage cart to use. I would add a few hooks to the top bar to hang bag handles. That was a shortcoming. I was not sure why it was important for guests to park vehicles so that rear license plates could be seen by police. Is there a crime issue? That was the first place i ever stayed that posted warning signs and fine notices because of police needing to see plates! Smokers need to be away from the front entry. the smoke-free rooms are great, but walking through clouds as you enter or leave defeats that purpose for those disaffected. Locate a smoke area nearby, but away from breathers, please. My stay also was during a television cable outage, where only HBO worked. I defaulted to the radio, on the bedside clock. I was not there for TV: I was there to sleep! The mattress was comfortable as were the pillows. The hotel staff is no nonsense. They are polite, bilingual (English/Spanish) and work oriented. The hotel is situated along an area that is accessible to many convenience stores, shopping centers, restaurants, and public transportation. with a Philadelphia bound bus line one block away. I am making this property my go-to stop in South Jersey, and already have a reservation in July!…
I work for a different Choice hotel in a different state so I was looking forward to staying at a different property. The outside was nice and clean. I walk in to a front desk agent sitting (which is not allowed at my hotel because its unprofessional) behind the desk. They didn't stand or acknowledge me being there and waited for me to say something. So from the beginning I was displeased. I get to my room and the floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed after a muddy guest had been there. I was exhausted from driving 10 hours. Assuming the bed could be dirty as well I laid on top of the comforter the whole time with my personal blanket. The following morning I had went to the desk to talk to them about it and the person at the desk was on their phone and ignored me. I said excuse me and they said one moment. I left because I would have been late. I had expected the room to be cleaned that day by housekeeping and to come in to a cleaner room. I got into my room late and it was in the same condition. I had a busy few days up there due to my child having appointments at the Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia. Every time I approached or walked by the desk I was ignored. At the Choice Hotel I work at we do not run this way!!! EVERY guest no matter if they have been in and out the door a billion times that day they are greeted! This is not what Choice Hotels stand for. I will definitely not be staying here the next time I visit the area which is every few months.…
